I can understand many folks frustrations, given where the SP currently is. I assume this package has been mooted for a while. Martin was definitely due a package for coming on as CEO. That's just the way it goes, particularly in AIM. Taking cash out of the business would be suicide.

Perhaps looking at this objectively the leadership think the timing was right to get this RNs / Package done and that we will see significant upside in the SP in the coming weeks. Ultimately they lock in more ownership in the business meaning they hold a higher % of the business than the PI Eileen Carr still has significant personal funds tied up in the company too. So in some ways a dual role as a significant PI plus as an insider in the business.

There could be worse things, lot's of people spoke about being happy with the way the business has been run recently. So that comes at a cost. People don't turn up to work these days just because they like doing it or the y like the people they work with.

Hopefully we can move the SP up and along and get some new JVs for all of this hard work and really get the attention of some majors based on good field work out of Mbe.

Well I asked for news this week and it came, seems to be pretty decent. I also asked if they could mobilize the rig down to Mbe and it looks like this is going ahead. Hopefully, we get a little pre Christmas RNS with a good drilling update. Then results to start coming in via Q1.

Now we await the final drill results from Bibimi, clearly all of the drilling has been completed over there. Samples usually get sent out of country. However, I think we are overdue on a batch but let's see.

Yeah ON probably wishful thinking. Anyhow hopefully some news to come this week about something ORR related. Even if the company has to RNS that LuckyAbby is a bloke!!

What do we reckon folks news this week?

We are long overdue news on Bibimi drilling and further Mbe Trenching results.

Ideally I would like to see us making a case for doing some further investigation work on some of the other licences too, after all we probably only really got investment on Bibimi since it was partly worked through and showed potential. Although not sure if we have the personnel to drill Mbe and work on an additional licence.

Just keen to see some good news drive the SP up and make good final value from the remainder of the Lanstead deal.

Well any listed company technically has a duty to their shareholders to make the SP do better, easier said that done right! However, the Chair of ORR is probably one of the largest single shareholders, so I suspect she is very keen to see the SP increase. In fact the several of the insiders (current & former) have a decent chunk of skin in the game. It is one of the things I like about ORR.

The unfortunate situation at the moment is we just don't have the volume to get this popping. This is why I am keen to see the drill heading towards Mbe. However, I've been here a while so I am used to patiently waiting.

Just throwing this one out there as a bit of a brainstorm. The drilling results for Bibimi have been quite slow, that probably has a lot to do with a number of factors, such as the weather etc. But I'm wondering when it comes to drilling Mbe which is arguably larger than Bibimi would it make sense for the company to add an additional drilling equipment and personnel?

If Mbe is the potential company maker I think it would make sense to have the drill results back as quickly as possible. Since without good news the SP languishes, which means the current Lanstead deal generates less cash for the business.

Therefore, if the results from Mbe were fantastic having the results much sooner could ignite the SP which in turn could boost the income into TopCo from the remainder of the Lanstead deal. So, in theory given where the SP is now, adding additional drilling capabilities could possibly more than pay for itself?

Hopefully this is being taken into consideration under some kind of cost vs benefit analysis. I appreciate there just may not be the skills in country so this is where the cost may become prohibitive to bring in external resources but it would be interesting to know?

Jiggery pokery..... being a shareholder these days takes a lot of patience, with all the geo political drama that is going on in the world!! Thankfully this company ORR is pretty straightforward, if there is gold in the ground and pretty near the surface then it has lots of value. Currently this value is not really reflected in the share price as MTM demonstrated a while ago with some interesting calculations on Bibimi which is just one license.

Last day of the month today and then we are into November, hopefully we get the final tranche of drilling results from Bibimi in November.

I must admit I am eagerly looking forward to the RNS or company update which states the drilling rig is on the move to Mbe

Yep Cekim. As far as the biz goes TL is gone but not forgotten. He had a vision of a gold district in Cameroon. I hope to see that dream become a reality. As far as I know Tim is still a shareholder, he built up a decent holding which a lot was via salary sacrifice. Just like me I’d love to see him realise some amazing value from that. Tim knows all too well what happens when the big guys want into your company. That happened to him with Reservoir minerals…..

Welcome back ‘79 personally I believe we should be at a Penny!!

Another value add RNS. ORR is a small company, personnel wise but potential of the assets is HUGE. The costs are kept in check and the business appears to be well managed. When an RNS like the one today arrives it serves as a good reminder this business isn’t a 1 trick pony.

We are potentially a few months away from determining whether the business switches from a full explorational company into a gold miner / producer.

The RNS today reminds us that we still have additional licences to explore in Cameroon. The original vision of the company was to build a new Gold District in Cameroon. It is very encouraging to hear the leadership of the business draw parallels in this RNS to Mbé the potential “company maker”.

All these RNS and updates from the business will not go unnoticed by the big boys. It is truly bonkers that our share price is not closer to a penny. The value that has been unearthed so far warrants it. However, the really scary thought is the potential that is yet to be unearthed. If ORR has replicative gold across its central licences then it is not beyond the realms of fantasy for ORR to find itself in a bidding war with some of the big players. Any RNS mentioning something like this would cause the share prices to re-rate into multiples of pennies!!

There aren’t many virgin gold districts left in the world and if Cameroon is really serious about kick starting it’s gold industry then events may start to move much quicker in 2025! As a LTH that’s what I am hanging in here for. I suspect the insiders of the business who spent their own personal money investing are here for this possibility too!!

Exiting times ahead!!

The price into the close looked pretty decent today. Hopefully we can get some momentum over the next couple of weeks and we creep up into the 40s.

Still a great price for anyone contemplating hopping onboard or topping up!!!

Could we see gold almost at $3k by year end. We should be getting the last set of drill results in the next few weeks. I suspect this will then be the catalyst to drive the finalisation of the exploitation licence with the Cameroonian govt!! Having that licence is another piece in the value jigsaw!! There are some other few pieces of news that could just come leftfield!!

The potential here is very very interesting!!!

Business as usual. Read the company updates, as owners, investors and employees they continue to add value. The person selling over on the other platform should be a good reminder for all……

If you are investing here, do so with what you can afford. This is NOT really a trading share, certainly not at the moment!!

I for one would not take the advice of someone who comments on a public forum in response to a question about whether they make money or not…..

Patience is required here, over time the value will come. I really do not want to see people lose money here, myself included. Sure this is a gamble but it’s a gamble the leadership of the company is also betting on with their own money, dealt in cash & salary sacrifice !!

@benh a question similar to the point you make about whether orr would add to their explorer profile with producer status was raised at the agm..........

q: what is the plan after drill results at bibimi and mbe? historically, orr has been an explorer. is there an appetite, since orr has bcm, an earth mover, as a partner for orr to become a mining company?

a: martin mentioned there are companies that only explore and others that only mine or do both. with his experience and working with bcm, this could certainly be a possibility. for example, bcm doesn’t need huge resources or infrastructure to start an open pit gold mine compared to what some majors need to invest in extremely large resources projects.

i have no idea what it takes to get a mine up and running but i suspect it could be expedited in a country that wanted to fast track and show case their in country mining potential. there is possibly less red tape in cameroon than somewhere more developed like australia.

so perhaps with a partner like bcm onboard and good relations with the cameroon mining ministry we evolve from being an exploration only company. if cameroon are serious about opening up their resources to the outside world, orr is literally the only company on the ground doing gold exploration!!

Aye GOHF nicely articulated, I suppose using that analogy we are buying "off plan" at the moment. The CGI mock up isn't wowing everyone at the moment but when the show house is decorated the stampede may begin!!

The problem is when the builders are finished it will likely cost much more!!

There was also probably a tax benefit for the UK business when they consolidated the ownership. This investment still has its risks but with each RNS I feel a bit more confident we have a pathway forward!!

Remember the Chair & the CEO recently bought at a very similar share price to where we currently are!!

Backing junior miners can be a risky old business, look where the SP was 12 months ago. 52 week low was .0007p (i think that is the correct amount of zeros) then the 52 week high of .0057p somewhere in the region of 700% higher when BCM hopped onboard. Obviously it drifted down over time because the volumes are low and the herd haven't yet cottoned on to the potential value play that ORR presents.

There are sexier shares out there like TRP with billions in Confetti and an LSE board full of lunatics. TRP does have potential but I see it as way more riskier than ORR. However, because it has volume and lots of ramping and de-ramping the SP can rocket in either direction, even on no tangible news.

Meanwhile back at ORR HQ - the leadership of the business continue to take steps to de-risk the business and add value. $139K spent on shoring up the ownership of Bibs & Mbe is fantastic news!!

Not only does this demonstrate good value but it also demonstrates good governance from the leadership. Like I mentioned yesterday, each RNS seems to add more value into the business, yet of course the SP just doesn't really reflect this.

For anyone currently building a position or thinking about it. I would suggest you are getting a gift at the moment with the current share price (after considering all of the other risk tolerances). Of course don't believe some rando on a bulletin board, do your own research, read the RNS articles and the news bulletins and watch the CEO videos.

They simply cannot hold the share price back for ever. Gold prices are currently on our side, sentiment seems to be coming back to the junior mining sector. We are yet to see the full effect of this with Oriole but it will come over time.

The business is being well run and there aren't too many of those on AIM!! Tim L always said Bob was shrewd with the pennies!! Today's RNS demonstrates a prudent use of funds to increase shareholder value!! Possibly one way to look at this...is they are taking some of that "Lanstead revenue" and using it to increase our ownership in 2 of our most prospective assets!!

At some point this company will become fashionable again to the herd, the d**kheads will arrive en mass to the ORR LSE board and then this company will re-rate hopefully in the multiples and everyone who bought at these levels and lower should be superbly rewarded for their patience!!

Doldrum period between news, hang in there folks. I keep thinking of that Morningstar fair value assessment I saw for ORR last week which was over 1p . I think we would all like to see that level reached soon but I guess psychologically it would be great to reach the 52 week high again!!

Eventually this will come together, as Kutzz says the mining licence could be a good catalyst for SP growth. They cannot keep the SP held back forever, each RNS, even though we usually go red straight after, is adding value to the business portfolio bit by bit!

Can anyone put a value on the current MRE at Bibs which is 375K Oz as it stands? When taken in that context we gotta be seriously undervalued!!

Well we did 20M in volume yesterday, Ideally we kind of need double or treble this. Still doesn't take away from the fact that we are undervalued. As others say it will be interesting to see what the additional zones @ Bibs reveal after drilling. Thinking about it a nice shallow project could be good for the first commercial gold mine. Less to spend on getting the paydirt out of the ground.

I suspect we won't get the approval for the exploitation license until all the drilling is done and results are in but perhaps not. 20 Nov marks a year when HoTs were signed with BCM, it would be great to see some additional JV activity on the other licecnes too!!

2025 could be a great year for ORR!!

Totally get it Novice, but if you think where we where before and where we are going now, it's almost night and day. When you look at our current market cap, to see something like Bibimi that can rise up and pay the bills, think of the potential of Mbe, then what we have in Senegal, plus the additional Cameroon licences in the central belt, we are still really undervalued, so plenty of scope to grow your holding from here. Hopefully in a few weeks I see some of my first purchases in this biz break even !!!

Remember BCM bough in knowing the first drill results at Bibs and after doing their own DD. These guys are experts at what they do and they obviously see the potential in this business, outside of many other AIM juniors!!

@Rob95 have you tried putting an order in at the price you want with your broker? Sometimes works for me, particularly with this share last year, I built up a decent sized holding and did not pay the full ask on many of my buys!

Hey Novice, our major shareholder is consistent, they sell pretty much daily at around 2M volumes which, really is nothing if we can bring interest and volume into this share. Point to remember our major shareholder helped to keep the lights on in the dark dark days and helped us avoid junior miner wasteland. Now, if you would like to help the cause, sweep those 2M up and you could see a decent return !!
