AZ doesn't do himself any favours. I suspect in the early days he had this idea that he could do everything, i.e. be a CEO , CFO , CTO, Head of Marketing etc. I think the penny has finally dropped that he can't do this all. On the last call it became clear from the new CFO there was work to do with the books. I guess it took him getting the shares suspended to jolt him into action.
If the Tradeflow deal did not happen I would probably be very worried at this stage because like it or not AZ is still a bit of a jam tomorrow salesman. The fact that he always goes right to the wire with key milestones is still an example of work to do or work in progress. but that does not detract from his vision, he just needs to learn to be the visionary and hire people who are the "doers"
It was much more reassuring to see the TF guys come onboard, if we can see potential as arm chair investors, those guys will likely to have seen a lot more of what goes on behind the curtain and they DIDN'T walk away. Despite what TW and the trolls say!
This definitely still feels like a GO BIG or GO HOME kind of share the share price at these levels makes it as compelling and distressing as an EastEnders Christmas special. Let's hope AZ & team have some great news up their sleeves for the New Year special and beyond!
There is an element of truth to his snowball effect mantra. I have worked in many professional services companies and as soon as we or one of our competitors or peer firms took on an idea / piece of technology / or business process that was revolutionary or ground breaking everyone in the industry followed suit.
Hang in there folks, I've never understood the paid ramper vs deramper saga that plays out on here, perhaps I have to research more. Makes me wonder who would pay these folks, either way, plus there are easier ways to earn money like flipping burgers. The way I view it is we have overly optimistic investors probably in too deep on the positive "rampy" side. Then just downright sadistic F.u3ks on the "deramp" side who enjoy seeing people who are down on their fortunes suffer more.
Hang in there folks and let the saga play out!!
Hey Londoninvestor what does your point mean and not being funny about this?
"Check out the company requirments for listing on NASDAQ, then look at our current share price."
From what i understand there is a price limit for the share to be on the NAS but all they need to do is take 1000 of my shares and turn them into 10. So i think the current share price is irrelevant.
The bonus of the Nasdaq I guess is more avenues for people to buy shares which should be good. If this company monetisies and makes cash hand in hand it will not matter which exchanges the stock is registered on.
Interesting though
That's why I am here Captain. I often find the financial advice I get on an anonymous bulletin board second to none. After all if these good Samaritans give up their time to guide me and only have my best interests at heart then they have to be worth listening too, right?
If SYME is a scam then I take some comfort that much smarter folks than me have also been conned in this "scam" such as this gentleman....

After selling his company to SYME and taking a significant equity holding position in SYME.
Stay patient folks and this will literally pay dividends one day in the (hopefully) not too distant future.
Hey Big Mac no worries dude. Wishing you luck on this one. I dumped a lot of my ORR into this when it was below .3 it was too tempting not too.One thing I can say is AZ is definitely not a premature ejaculator !
The trade flow guys were always my de-risk symbol.
Obviously like everyone else I would be ecstatic with a “cracking RNS” but just an ok RNS will be fine also. I have patience. At 2p Mrs H has no more beans on toast!
Best of luck!
Hey Big Mac thanks for your comment? Curious how you would think that. I have no shares in this biz?
Perhaps your comment is as lazy as your diet ?
I don’t provide opinions on shares I’m not invested in. I’m also not going to **** up the wall but I would hazard a guess that I own way more shares than you do in this company!
Man AZ likes to raise the heart beat and add a bit of drama. It is slightly concerning since I recall he was meant to get a trading update out in March and it slipped into an April fool. The market didn't like that.
Let's hope he's learned his lesson a bit this time. Ordinarily I would be very apprehensive but to keep it in the School theme, it looks like we have a few decent Prefects join the SYME team from Tradeflow.
They have obviously done their homework ahead of time and hopefully got A* or whatever kids get these days for being very clever and astute in the classroom. Without that Tradeflow deal I'd be much more unsettled. Those guys aren't daft though if you look at the LinkedIn bios.
Am not expecting fireworks in the next RNS I just want to see monetisation demonstrating a working platform.
Good luck all!
Resevoir Minerals = TL
Good RNS putting some pressure on IAMG they may try to negotiate this claim to be sold off if IAMG don't want to develop it. Could be decent money for both parties. I suspect we will see IAMG stump up for their final year of exploration in Senegal.
This will definitely produce results patience is needed. TL thinks Senegal should move the needle to 1.4p without anything going on in Cameroon.
@Legal Wolf I guess it really depends on what IAMG find during this year which is the last year of their $4m earn in to own 51% of Senala. If they like what they find they have an option to spend another $4m over another 2 years to own 70% of Senala.
So i see that as $2m per year that could go to fund Cameroon exploration which isn't bad. I don't know how much ORR spend per year but $2m seems like it could fund a decent bit of exploration.
So this is why we eagerly await the Senala results AND the news on what IAMG are going to do next. I think if the results are decent SP gets a decent rise and if IAMG want to spend that $4m that shows we have a really decent viable claim to get a resource on.
SYME - i have a few of those for my sins. since nowt much going on with ORR - SYME for me was risky until the Tradeflow deal went through, for me that reduced the risk somewhat. As in there had to be a lot of DD going on before either side would buy which involves legal counsel finance experts etc. Ultimately, why would a thriving biz like Tradeflow allow itself to be acquired by SYME if there was no potential of growth & as many say SYME is in a death spiral. I do think the SYME leadership team are not great with market comms and the SP drops every time an RNS comes out. Where have I seen that before?? Ah ORR.
Back to ORR bit of a holding pattern going on for some decent news. I think Cameroon is too early stage to lift the needle on Q3 news so really Senegal is probably the focus for hopefully lifting the SP.
The jam factory is still running and we are still on target. i.e. there will be jam tomorrow.
Trading update in August (which probably means Sept) with some real numbers.
Ergo sit tight and watch the SP bounce around at this level or levels similar before yesterday until something meaningful comes out of any update.
AZ would also like to take the opportunity to thank you for being a share holder.
In the words of Susana Christie, I want your boots, your clothes and your motor cycle. Syme will be back.
It is a tricky call. Tim always said once the value of sengal was determined the SP should be about 1.4p that gave me hope as my average was around 1.11p so actually thinking i could realise some profit without factoring in the district that is Cameroon.
However I just don't know when that news will come IAMG are busy spending $60M pimping up Boto so in some ways the y do not need to rush, they also have a water tight contract that prevents ORR from doing any drilling on the licences so a little bit over a barrel there.
I think if you can afford to hold you will see returns well above 1p but it may take some time to come together. I did sell some of my holding here just because i'd gotten myself too "top heavy" on one stock (not that my SYME holding isn't either)
It is a tough call to make, sods law if you sell then great news drops. The other thing i'm not so fond with this share is the spread but i guess thats part and parcel of AIM
Thanks Troj, I owe you one. I dumped ARB on Monday morning first thing then it tanked so I bought back in when it fell below 90 just dumped it again @ 120. Soaked up some of the losses from here. I was officially a day trader on Monday well for a bit. Watch it fly now plus the Elon Effect and watch this fly too. I hope this does any way. I don't think any of us deserve to be at the current Share price where we are. It baffled me why we got so low over this last few weeks.
