As for the notion of being approved with the current data, I don't think this will happen. The p&d crew calling £5 have well and truly gone, when you're holding in hope, it's dangerous. Fwiw GL said Q2, admittedly after he missed Q1. However, he's been good with time scales generally and don't think he'll miss this one. Especially having given talks since and also reiterated Q2. Hoping for a rerate afterwards

From the sub group that have been reported that went into "full remission", why was the number of patients in this group?

After the two successful quarters, I would like to know why they needed the placing. Surely it must have been a very big order if the demand was so great. Otherwise, why didn't the cash flow the the previous quarters cover it?

Astrazenica already have their own p3 running for lupus which is a 5yr trial, also general practice within pharmas is, they don't buy risk. They would rather pay over the odds and get 100% guaranteed, they would rather pay £2-£3bln to get a drug that works and if approved. All this talk of sub groups is absolute drivel, "statistically significant", what needs to happen then is set up a bigger trial on the sub group then, as it didn't work for the majority. If you're investing based on a T.O, you're in for a shock. Massive p&d here. This BB used to be full of knowledgeable bio investors, they've mainly gone. Then you don't understand how pharma work. GSK don't buy risk, cash is not an issue they would rather buy certainties and pay over the odds. So they are looking? Not found, not agreed, until I hear otherwise I will reserve judgement, and after that it's a mere wait of a few years for trials. Once again refer to prtk - whom were "talking to many interested parties" (with a ph3 drug that passed all primary endpoints) and were also talking to interested parties. TM prior to the ph3 results also said he was very confident of the outcome. 7 patients, many more didn't respond overall then and negligible for the majority. Not great for a $20k per annum drug, that would be a tough marketing. What needs to happen here is more ph3 trials, recruit more patients globally, which as astrazenica show, is not easy and will take many years. The real loss here though, is the sufferers of lupus that are stuck with the current soc, which is simply not good enough and nothing coming through any time soon. After these results, I genuinely had hoped that astrazenica could have got their results this year, which had been the original plan

Strange, as lanstead took place in numerous placings well below £100mln mcap. Logic, ii sold, results not good and all that's left is mostly prior trying to create spurious links to success.
