I've had my criticisms of the bod, but I think this one is really unfair. They've taken pay cuts already, they've taken payments in shares and they've also loaned there company money.

It's all down to the government loan to be fair. It's not as clear cut as saying, they will or will not get a government loan. As governments will only want to lend to viable business, now star do have the tech, but they have had an inability to capitalising on that tech for a good few years now. But have star proved themselves to be a viable business on the balance sheet to obtain such a loan? What you want and what you get are two very different things. This has just turned high risk, until resolved.

The ramping is tiresome, there's nothing positive to take from that rns. Anyone trying to infer has an agenda. Why are people incapable of calling something straight? It's bizarre

Last year they had an order that paid £1.1mln which essentially put star into positive, it is fair to assume trading is behind last year's ytd. It places even more importance on larger contracts from may - December.

It wasn't too long ago when people were and I quote "starcom will remain unaffected by covid-19 because they track the movement of goods not people". Have those rampers changed their mind?

Truth is, this isn't unexpected, but it's having such a dramatic effect now because of the bod's/sales team failures to drive home the tech over the past few years. As a few dared to point out.

Very very interesting from here. Also note, star own supply issues to fulfill future orders, which many disputed. Without Shadow of doubt this far riskier now, no one can say categorically that the government loan will or will not be granted. All anyone can do is hope atm

I'm inclined to agree with this sentiment, however I remember a couple of weeks ago there were multiple rampers banging on about how the closing of boarders wouldn't affect star because it was the transportation of goods rather than people. Where are they now? In avct and ncyt pumping there I reckon

The only article I can see l, is just a meaningless generic one. Means very little, have you got a link?. Small companies are always going to be tight on cash (which is what the article referred to), but we are okay here for the immediate. The thing to remember here is the tech, that will deliver eventually. They have a good client base to keep things ticking day to day, it's just a case of adding the big contracts to show that they are real players........

Imo this company depends entirely on this litigation, i don't think that they can develop a new field from scratch. So this is high risk and high reward now, think we're talking a 20 bag or bust! Hope that the courts are more impartial than the government departments. I would also add, that given the story, Colin was a pretty awful ceo all in. But that said, I do believe regardless of the ceo, AST would always have ended up at this point because of the officials incompetence. There are other factors that also cannot be discussed publicly, I feel that everyone is aware of.

Well this is the shot all share holders have been looking for. Ch alluded to this many years ago. We know they are suing for the full €90mln that they've been there. So even with a 60/40 split with the litigation team (which is too high), they could receive damages of €54mln. Not bad for £2.5mln mcap

That's true, the company will get there one day, patience is required of course. The company's prospects look excellent, about as good as anything I've seen on aim, with limited risk after the recent loans. That's not to say, they can't improve in certain areas. They can. But so can any company on any market. It was the side show that was bugging me. Anyways, that's off my chest now and I wish everyone good health firstly and in the not too distant future, good wealth from this....

People get bogged down trying to pigeon hole people that wish to comment. Instead of doing that, actually bother to look at what's going on. How come no one else feels the need to say any Bosch deal, like the one presented on the 30th, the turning point. Has its drawbacks. Answer the questions honestly, from the latest Bosch trial, are star going to receive SaaS? Have star documented they have had supply issues of their own? These are really simple answers, which don't fit in the mould of the ramp. There lies the issue. In truth star turning point will be in Russia, probably lokies imo, that is huge. But that's just my opinion of course

I am not totally blinkered, and I do accept that there is a Bosch deal. But when it's presented as the turning point (how many have those have there been over the past 4 years based on factual research). It doesn't come with balance. It never does. That being, it doesn't come with SaaS payments, as Bosch built their own back office. It doesn't come with, it could be delayed as thus far it's been a trial, it doesn't come with it's only profit on hardware. It doesn't come with that info, because it doesn't fit the agenda of the crew. My point being, what is going on is is a drip effect, very subtle from a select group of holders.

The cycle has been the same and it was exactly same as detailed at the top. Just think about how many false dawns there as been. If each one of those added a small amount over four years, it equates to a huge amount shares. That to me makes more sense than corrupt mms etc

I'm also not negative on star, it's marketing leading tech, has been for years. But anyone who comes on here saying there isn't anything that could have been improved is mental. Don't forget, before the virus really bit into the aim market, the company has been pushing lower lows. So again I'd all people consider, is that corrupt mms?

Second time you've filtered me. I do not need to explain to anyone what social media I may or may not have, very strange comment. What is also very strange, how touchy people get about the notion of crews working this. I wonder why?
