I’m really looking forward to seeing this debt free company you keep going on about Karl. What is this trend you refer to, and do you think that possibly rises in interest rates and poor sales could adversely affect that trend? Rather than just spouting the same thing over and over, why not just wait for the actual facts to be revealed by the company? If this is debt free and everything is as rosy as you say, you’ll earn a packet. If not, you won’t have tried to persuade others to lose a packet.

Bizarre drop so far as I can see. Growth by growing market share is where it’s at as far as I’m concerned. Organic growth is a piece of p*ss. Not topping up but happy to continue to hold here.

Dreadful. “Noticeable slowdown in new customer additions”. This is meant to be a growth stock FFS.

Bought in here today. Good company, well run. Maybe some short term challenges but the fundamentals look good to me.

I'm always nervous about valuations and potential manipulations, but there's no doubting this looks really cheap now. I've bought in today.

I have a confession. I topped up yesterday, breaking my promise to myself not to. This was against my gut instinct about this company and that has never turned out well for me in the past so I really hope this is the exception. They need a good ol’ kick up the a*se to get this one going.

Sorry you find that embarrassing Pompal. I genuinely thought it was a good comparison. Corner shops are scattered around the country and they have commonly been taken over/converted by the big boys in recent years due to the unviability of one man bands competing with the big boys who can drive their costs down.

I’d sum it up as follows - the likes of Clifford Chance, Linklaters, Allen and Overy etc are the equivalent of Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrisons etc. Moving down the pecking order, you have firms like CMS and the like - the Lidl and Aldi. Moving on further down you have the big regional players like Burges Salmon, Osborne Clarke and northern equivalents - the Happy Shoppers and Spars. Then you get to Knights - the corner shop whose previous owner saw the writing on the wall and sold out to an amalgamator!

Have you been to Scotland Mary? Tennents is the Carling of Scotland - ie sh**e! Magners and Bulmers at one point were really strong brands, but they’ve let them drift and their profiles have shrunk dramatically. I am still a holder here, but I need to see some serious uplift in numbers before I’d put a penny more here. They’re trading currently on past glories. They need to step up their game significantly to stop the rot.

I’m not liking this company, but I do like this board. Good comments from peeps with different points of view. Exactly how it should be.

Darton - we have different views, but one correction to your post. Knights are not the biggest law firm in the UK. They are the largest law firm without a London office. Every other large law firm, probably from c £30million turnover upwards has a London office, the reason being that they can win work at London rates using their London office and the turn a massive profit farming it out to a regional office where office costs, salaries etc are much cheaper.
