X gives better and more positive / uobeat summary when compared with the RNSs. I think Oriole’s RNS are quite ‘dry’ in tone and whilst they must report factually they’d benefit with a bit more flair and PR shine on them for the wider market to understand there is definitely gold in the ground!

To that point Catbert this is from X this morning and if I’m reading this correctly the really exciting holes and high expectations of great resits have now been drilled and results due by end of this month?:

If they are able, this is exactly the time where we need to see director buys to boost confidence and show their belief.

Chief Executive Officer of Oriole Resources, Martin Rosser, said: "The first few holes of any maiden drilling programme are always eagerly awaited and, based on the earlier excellent trenching results, our hopes were high. Hole MBDD002 did not disappoint, delivering a discovery hole with multiple significant gold mineralised intersections over substantial widths. Importantly, the purpose of the first scissor hole pair to provide key geological structural information, for optimal intersection of gold mineralisation, has been satisfied. Moreover, given the appearance of the core in the second scissor pair of holes, there are further promising signs of mineralisation. Just trying to join the dots. Taken from press release this week:

Will help keep costs down with Bibemi and Mbe using Oriole’s own chemicals needed for dare I say…. the future gold mining at these resources

Supposedly but depending on what the contract notes and from the RNS previously posted on the topic (over the last few years) I question whether Managem (Iamgold) performed in time to the letter of the contract. Whether Oriole are actually able to speak with other parties now only the board will now but it would be somthing I’d be closely looking at and hopefully they are. Managem have been painfully slow on a number of points from what I can see. We should have had an update by now and expected this well before Christmas further to an interview Martin gave. Someone’s been dragging their feet but that should now favour Oriole and on better terms with the higher gold price. That resource in Senala must be worth dramatically higher.

Agreed Hunniford. Sometimes I wonder if BCM should also be looking at Senala?!

Cekim - I keep saying it but the trades over the last week and half suggest there is an investor loading up. They are for circa 2.5m to 10m shares at a time. A significant position appears to being built.

Exciting times from here I hope. Some of us have been extremely patient.

With Oriole exhibiting next week in South Africa drip feeding positive knock out RNSs from late today into tomorrow and again each day next week would be a smart move for the SP. Got to be at least one RNS between now and next Tuesday surely. Kick things off smartly. Share price is seemingly now moving off the lows. Lots of news to come.

And an update on Senala is due re the plan going forward.

I don't think they were dumps Cekim. Look at the values of trades around that time on Friday. No way would you have got that price if you'd tried to dump that quantum (I regularly do dummy buys and sells to see where pricing is). On the flip side it should have pushed the share far higher. Buyer in the background?

Their recent self awarded shares should have been set at higher exercise hurdle levels and deserved on SP performance.

Patience is wearing very thin. Lots of self promotion going on media such as X etc. It is results we need and them driving SP far far higher. Yet to be seen.
