well hfo it feels as though i've been buying up some of them! someone else has been out on the buying spree today by the looks of it too.

re numbers. bag of *** packet but..

if we are all right and assume 2m shares are roughly sold by lanstead every trading day that equates to approximately 10m per week.

their holding on 24th september in the rns was reported at 506,241,340 (12.99% of the company).

that was seven weeks ago next tuesday so by close of play then 10m shares a week x 7 weeks= 70m shares sold bringing their total holding down to 436,241,340 (a 13.8% reduction). their total holding in the company would then be down to 11.1%

please check my maths!! this is my take on it rightly or wrongly.

It's probably not quite as high as yours Kutzz but I'm probably not that far behind now. As you know I've been here a few years and averaged down from a high of 1.41 (keen to get back to those SP prices and beyond!)

I think the price was dropped today and triggered stop losses. So in my mind I took advantage. We'll see if I'm right or wrong but we know how quick this can rocket on positive news.

I'm here for the long term and keeping the faith.

The last trade of the day is not an unknown - it was a buy.

I've maxed my position for now fellow Oriolers. I hope I'm right....

For me the fundamentals have not changed here, albeit news is well overdue and I'm taking the positive on that!

Senegal/ Managem update overdue now I think post Matin's video update. Albeit I don't think that is a bad thing bearing in mind the gold price increase over the last three months (+£203) and year (+£496).

PR machine gone quiet though.

The two SP trades at 8:57 today of 2m and 3m were definitely buys !

I don’t think this is Lanstead.

Low volume is the reason and if you look at the ‘other site’ today it appears an ‘investor’ needs some money out and has sold a number of shares. With low volume this is bound to affect the price.

Lots of news to come. When the news drops and herd arrives this will likely rocket. We’ve seen it before.

Current Share price is now where Martin and Eileen recently bought. It would be nice to see them topping up.

We have analyst predictions of share price of 1 - 6.6p

DYOR but this may be a good level to top up.

It would be great for Bob to give us an update on some numbers and nuggets of wisdom on where he believes our share price should be. After all the BOD keep banging on about how we are undervalued we are. They know what they need to do to drive this North.

That's interesting my buy (executed at 13:40 for 2,967,359) shares hasn't flashed up yet. I'll be interested to see if it is reported as a sell, buy or UT. It went straight through my end. Maybe MMs are calling Lanstead now for some shares!?

Exactly Cekim. Come what may they sell, it's a formula. I only see this deal now as excellent news for Oriole and presumably Lanstead need to be careful they don't sell too many and leave themselves exposed. They have a fine line to tread.

All looking extremely positive for Oriole. Hopefully the RNS keep being released now and we pick up momentum before the end of the year with the SP driving far higher. I'm really pleased to see the bod have grasped and using the PR machine to greater effect since Martin has come on board.

Hunniford, Kutzz et al correct me if I’m wrong but this is where it gets interesting if/when we hit some much higher share pricing as predicted with all our news to come.

Lanstead have surely got to be careful not to sell out too soon? Please excuse my maths if it’s way out but:

If we double the benchmark price of 0.2533 to 0.5066 that equates to a monthly payment of £147,250 (£1,767,000 per annum)

1.132p is £294,500 per month (£3,534,000 per annum)

2.264p is £589,000 per month(£7,068,000 per annum)

And so on, you can see where this is going. I’ve re-read the Lanstead RNS this evening and there is no upper cap set on monthly payments!!

Following SP Angel’s report and some hypothetical numbers by Kutzz, and the analyst’s predicting 6.6p next year, got me thinking over the weekend about where Lanstead could be heading with monthly payments to Oriole. We know they have sold roughly their holding so have approx. 13% of the company left. They sell about 2m shares a day and will probably be targeting to be out under their 24 month agreement which expires August 2025.

Oriole’s SP is currently at 0.33.

Lanstead’s benchmark was set at 0.2533 which equates to £73,625.00 (£883,500 per annum).

Could that analyst be right noted on Investors’ Chronicle with next year’s 6.6p prediction…
