The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I’ll second that Lambinator.
I wonder what the contract with Lanstead actually states…
Why would Bob note they have to declare every 1% of shares sold otherwise?. Is there something in the contract that states this as well as their obligation under AIM rules. If a provision such as this was in the contract (if it wasn’t then what not and did the board really not put a clause in stopping a certain amount of shares sold in any given period!?) then they are in default. Now it would get interesting.
As investors we need and deserve clarity on this, it’s not much to ask especially from some of us LTHs with significant holdings.
Anyway I’m looking forward to next month with further results and not worried long term. Just look at those grades noted again in the RNS today.

Just lack of significant volume Kutzz. We need news to drive forward. Tim suggested early Q2 for further news so we must be due another update soon. In the meantime remember Lanstead are paying more every month to the company whilst we are in the mid to late 0.30s SP.
We have lots of news to come, Gold is going up. Perfect drivers for the SP.
I would like to know how many they gave sold though. Come on Bob this ones on you ,put some pressure on Lanstead. You told us for every 1% they sell they have to notify the market. It will help you and your shareholders ultimately with the SP.

I’m not worried about the Lanstead deal anymore and believe this could be a stroke of genius by the team. Remember they are looked in for another 18 months or so. If they’ve oversold their shares they could be exposed….
I’m confident the share price right now is similar to a coiled spring. Hardly any volume today and I don’t think the red tells the truth here of what’s really going on or about to…. If you believe load up! I certainly have been.
Tim recently reported further results anticipated early Q2, new tax ISA year about to start, Gold price going up, lots of news to come. What not to like!? Surely the market will wake up to this any moment.
GLA , come on Oriole!
Doesn’t make sense Cekim.
Good luck to the investor who’s bought a significant chunk today. No doubt believing we have bottomed out now and practically back at the Lanstead deal price.
More news must be due soon.
I’m confident lots going on in the background. Remember the board won’t want to see share price value eroded either.
Come on Oriole!
This is the interview from 7 months ago Tim and Bob did when the Lanstead deal was announced. Scroll to 5 minutes in and Bob notes the numbers.
Also 'for every 1% Lanstead sell down' (Bob 8:10 in) they have to announce it. As I have said before if I'd been running this as part of the deal I would have capped Lanstead on number of shares they cold sell in any one period to protect share price. We are nearly back to base price. However, I remain confident in the board to deliver, they know what to do to extract value for us shareholders and are heavily invested accordingly. Lots of news from many different fronts still to come. The more shares bought and volume put through in a short period this share will run up quickly again. PR from the team has improved dramatically over the last 6 months and hopefully that will continue with even better news and results each time.

I now have the same average as you Hunniford and that’s from a high of 1.41! I hope we get back to that level and beyond. I wish they had capped Lanstead to only being able to sell a certain amount of shares in any one period. There must be an update on this soon.
Remember no bad news has come out. BCM have done what they agreed. Everything on track so far and lots more news to come.
I too anticipated this holding steady between 0.45 and 0.5. I must admit being disappointed where we currently are. I hope Tim will reward the shareholders having told us to hang on in there in one of his recent interviews. The fundamentals have not changed for me so I will be keeping the faith like a lot of LTHs here and adding further shares.
Come on Oriole. Onwards and upwards!!

Cekim - I thought the share price was acting funny today and that may explain it. MMs trying to fill a big order.....?
Looking at the 'unknown' trades in black (totalling 17,712,370 shares) and their timings they seem to be buys. The spread narrowed a few times today as well. I'm surprised we didn't end up the day blue.

Good to see, keep the news coming Oriole.
4 years ago today we hit the high of 1.71. Oriole is in a far better position than we were then with lots more news to come. Hopefully we hit that again soon and smash through it.
I’ve been topping up again today.

Good to see PR machine is running:

Well found Lambinator.
From our recent RNS two weeks ago on 22nd January (RNS: 3699A) reported as follows:
· In December 2023, as part of the due-diligence review, BCM collected a total of 639 in-situ pit (channel-chip) and outcrop (rock-chip) samples (total 707 samples including QAQC), over the main 3 kilometre ('km') long zone identified by the Company's previous exploration (announcements dated 30 January 2023, 27 February 2023, 24 May 2023 and 2 January 2024);
· The zone is underlain by a northeast to north-northeast trending, shear-related porphyritic unit (provisionally recorded as quartz-feldspar-porphyry ('QFP')) that is highly altered along its central core and is silicified and gold-mineralised where the unit is cross-cut by east-northeast trending mineralised structures;
· BCM's results have returned 155 samples grading equal to or greater than ('?') 1 gramme per tonne ('g/t') gold ('Au'), 13 of which have graded ?10 g/t Au;
· Best results include:
o 256.74 g/t, 133.44 g/t, 75.09 g/t, 33.66 g/t and 22.89 g/t Au from outcrop sampling;
o 25.16 g/t, 23.97 g/t, 9.98 g/t, and 8.75 g/t Au from pit sampling.
· A further 232 samples graded between 0.20 g/t and 0.99 g/t Au;
I had a look at GGP's grades recently in the RNSs they reported a few years ago to see how they compared to ours and before their SP rocketed. Do your own research but another reason why I keep topping up my share holding in Oriole. As Lambinator notes Tim has reported the size of the district we have is mega (75km length x 15km width).
Lots of news to come in February and of course what will happen with Senala and Managem Group.
