Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
The public will be active in ensuring this does not happen since it represents a colossal waste of public money when there is little money left, there would be no need for PCR testing except for varient identification following a Positive LFT now that an LFT with 100 percent Sensitivity across the infectious range has been developed.
Now I've been a bit of a fan of Star Trek all my life and firmly believe in the idea that whatever can be imagined will likely come to pass. Seems to me that the Hypo Dr McCoy utilises will likely be injecting Affimer Reagents, yes Vaccines will undoubtedly have had their day in coming decades. Lets hope the Affimer reagent work was kept on warp 5.06 or thereabouts.
When HMG comes knocking to ask Avacta to arrange manufacture of truck loads of our 100% Sensitive LFTs to detect the new varient I hope Al manages to show some restraint and avoids giving them the finger. Not sure I could.
I have just submitted a complaint using the information below. If others would like to do likewise referencing and taking account of statements in the applicable Government Step 1 (Step 2 documentation referenced below) guideline documentation such as "aim of 20 days for review" and "may take longer if large numbers of applications". In my opinion the review has taken more time than is reasonable given Avactas submission date (prior to Sept 1st) and has caused damage to Avactas business beyond loss of UK sales. Might not do much good but it made me feel better!

I'm afraid you're right when you discuss the consequences of being ruled by elites whose background is classical and arts education. I have an engineering backround and degree and have lamented the absence of a detailed and meaningful Engineering Strategy. Have you actually read the ours! Lets not forget the fact that M Thatcher was happy to export much of our manufacturing industry decades ago leaving many people to live life on fhe dole, the future would be the service industries - she was a scientist. Only someone with a classics background could lead the country into a position where there is no centralised control of for example the railways. Had there been the whole system could have been computerised and fully automated (driverless trains) more than a decade ago. Much of our goods traffic routed via the railways to transport-hubs and the rest of it. HS2 more collosal waste, speed isnt everything. Can you imagine an Engineer daft enough to give the Russian leadership the opportunity to turn off our fuel supplies and for heavens sake contemplate allowing the Chinese leadership control over Nuclear power generation! National Leadership should be in hands of practical folk with solid practical engineering experience then we light actually get somewhere. Look what Engineers, mostly British by the way, did for Germany after the second world war - they turned it into the powerhouse of Europe. No, being lead by Classics graduates, Politics Graduates and indeed Barristers is far from ideal. Bring on the Engineers, trouble is finding those who be happy to lead the likes of Boris, Mog and their ilk. These days perhaps the only way is to kick the lot of the parisites out and start again with the best of a bad lot, via a Government of National Unity. I honestly think in all modesty I could have done a better job than Boris, but then perhaps most Engineers would have.
Lets not forget that being vaccinated does not prevent one from transmitting Covid to others particularly if in close proximity in confined spaces etc. So no, LFT use can be expected to be ongoing in my opinion.
I hope that all UK companies stymied by this inept and corrupt Government band together and launch a class action against them [the Government] to win compensation for actuall losses and lost opportunities in relation to Covid products. First Brexit, then Bungled Pandemic and now pending Economic Failure, recently heard of a fuel bill rising from £40 last quater to £500 this. What a fiasco. Just came back from the supermarket bare shelves for quite a lot of my favourite fodder. Government: Hopeless, hapless cretins the lot of them.
Heresthe text of another email Ive sent to my MP if anyone wants to follow suit with something similar ...
Hi X, I understand there is to be a debate on Monday concerning the award of Covid related contracts. I honestly feel there have been some very murky dealings in this respect. Its over a year since I first contacted you with respect to the the small pharma company Avacta. It has been thwarted in turning its world beating products into contracts, not least in my opinion by Sir John Bell and Porton Down. The Avacta AffiDX Lateral Flow Test has the highest performance/ Sensitivity and Specificity, of any test in the world thats to say 100% at CT 28 as I say unparalleled in the world. The test uses British IP, was developed here in the UK by a British Company using British Technology yet it is currently unable to sell any of its product in the UK since it is stalled in the Government Validation process while lesser products both British and foreign, noteably but not exclusively Chinese, are being sold in huge quantities. In my opinion there is something radically wrong here. If possible would you please give voice to my concerns. Thank you.
Ruling out S on an unscientific, not to say arbitary, basis smacks of asking for legal action and I hope Avacta is up for it if that proves to be the case. However, the suggestion seems a little too outlandish for me to believe!
Sickened by the snorting of Sir John Bell when mentioning onshoring Chinese tests. Is this another snout in the trough? He certainly fought hard to defend his inadequate PD test in the face of Avactas superiority to all other tests and yet failing to get past Pd. How does one raise this as a concern when the BBC is so ill informed and seemingly oblivious to what is going on with domestic test manufacturers?
An item on the news the other night discussed how care home staff who refused to be vaccinated would be leaving their jobs shortly, it then mentioned the very considerable amount of work needed for one trained individual to give staff and residents brain tickler LFD tests twice a week and more. How unnecessary and wastefull thought I, if only AffiDX was availble with HUA a majority of folk could I suspect easily test themselves with a painless easy to perform test with near PCR Sensitivity. What on earth is this Government playing at? I conclude it must be more than incompetence, whats needed is to call it out via our MPs.
So you would have us believe perhaps that the delays to BAMS, which allowed PCR interests to establish and benefit massively were perhaps just one of those things, that LFT delays are just the way it is for pharma. Money is involved here, big, big money, PCR contracts, LFT contracts, Cancer contracts and it is naive to think that big business will just roll over and let an upstart small business take the spoils without a fight. Just saying. I am old enought to remember the solid gold cutlery service presented to a Saudi Prince to grease the wheels of a certain BAES Contract for Fighter Jets and more. Avacta needs to get itself on a war footing because whether it realises it or not there are those who are not cheering it on. Not that I'm paranoid you understand.
I suggest all invested folk write to their MP asking why a British Company that has developed Probably the Best LFT in the world using British Technology, British IP developed here in the UK which been subject to clinical validated both in the UK and abroad been prevented from selling its products in the UK? Their is a concern amoungst the public that this is more than gross incompetence on the part of the Government and mirrors the corruption that has recently been cited in respect of PPE sales.
New tech delays unlikely to apply in the context of an LFT known to work and known to be the most accurate in the world unless brown envelopes involved. The sooner than Comparitve Study of LFT performance hits the streets the better but then again some large companies would likely prefer that dosent happen so there could be a flurry of brown envelopes in that respect as well. Nowone will ever convince me that BAMS delays didnt suffer that fate, just my opinion ...
