Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
Its good to see the words "... has the potential to ..." finally dropped from the about Avacta text. Small observation perhaps but I have been waiting and watching for this for some time. Lets hope its lost from all other presentation material as well.
For information there is an EU directive or similar which states that it is an objective/ goal for the use of Antibodies developed in animals to be discontinued in coming years. Another reason why I chose to invest in Avacta several years ago. Dont have the time to dig it out but be assured it exists.
Well, lets imagine Avacta owed 50M, which was required to be paid back in shares, would the BOD now be thinking about how to move the SP from its current value of around 135p to nearer 1000p? The answer is clear to me folks!
Well I learned quite a bit from SD. That Cancer as a disease even the the same type can vary quite consiserably in its composition between individuals and consequently the results of tests can be more nuanced than I expected. That trials themselves can be more complex and nuanced that I expected as well so that my previous black and white understanding has now taken on a myriad shades of grey. But above all this is confirmation from an expert of something I stated months if not years ago that if AVA6000 is as it appears to be a better form of Dox it will capture the entire Global market and moreover will increase market size perhaps very, very significantly. Finally I learned that it works and may well be fast tracked to market even though the road will be a little longer than I expected with my previosly simplistic view of things. It works, it will save and improve many lives and make Avacta a heap of money one way or another. So for me its time to chill and look at this board a little less often. Well done the Faithfull , you were right all along, it works and it will be huge.
If Phase 1a data is to be presented as previously stated there will have to be an RNS on Thursday morning. It may be that the RNS will be technical to the extent that it will need explanation, dont see how data can be released without an RNS, I am looking forward to it actually.
"... MHRA.." or anything resembling MHRA approval where vested interest cancels all else. The good news is that vested interest should be fighting over Precision if not there is always the Chinese I guess.
"Im out ..." not being facetious at all but why would you dip out now when the share price will almost certainly rise this afternoon and an RNS possible any day that should light the blue touch paper!? Anyhoo, good luck.
Any day now the Diagnostics division is going to announce that a Set of Lateral Flow tests has been developed to identify Sepsis, identify the need for Antibiotics and the like, not to mention Covid all to be retailed to the NHS and around the globe through Launch, how much is that worth I wonder?
Couldnt get to the minutes and seconds mark due to a lack of controls for some reason but I have some knowledge and wanted to pass it on. Regular PSA is good idea if a family history but the results can be misleading, getting to an MRI scan quickly is key if problems detected. The practice of taking biopsy samples blindly on a hit and miss basis is shockingly poor, there was a radio 4 discussion some 2 yrs or so ago in which doctors discussed the subject and they concluded MRI scan at an early stage was the gold standard. As you may know many thousands of men suffer with an enlarged prostate and dont have cancer, blood in the urine and such requires urgent attension. Good luck.
Well Happy New Year to all the Faithful, what a good programme that was. My guess is, after more than 3 yrs of watching and waiting, early mornings and all that, reading here and reading there and knowing Als liking for Thursdays its tomorrow. Fingers crossed but to my mind success is already writ large so Good Luck all LTH, I think the end of the beginning is finally in sight.
We have in my opinion entered risk-off territory. Therefore whatever happens to the share price in this phase should be of zero concern to anyone. Certainly its last chance saloon for derampers, so deramp away no one who knows a fraction of whats been written about Avacta is likely to sell. So have a Merry Christmas and see you all mid January for lift off.
Its to be expected that the P1a data will of course be highly technical with a basket-full of data being graphed, so there is much more than "it works" to be communicated. Discussion of the addressable market size as Avacta see it would be the easiest metric for the market to take on board lets hope this information is presented amoungst the other.
In my opinion the question as to whether it works or not was answered many moons ago. The implied information in todays RNS is simply that it works well. Buckle up for the New Year Avacta will be on the move and quickly! Buy now to avoid dissapointment is my message.
Well is there any better time than the start of a New Year to inform the world that the treatment of cancer has been transformed forever, I think not. This news will resonate around the world and some. Well played all those who kept the faith, the future is bright for share holders and cancer suffers alike I think. Well done Avacta.
Limited downside in my opinion, recent massive sell off bottemed at 100p or so. That level presents better buying opportunities is all. No panic sell off for Avacta I think, it is when all is said and done the goose that will lay a golden egg, shortly.
