Certainly positive and high assay results for copper and gold from sampling of exposed veins, but I think more significant is the broader recon efforts that have identified the 19 sqkm copper gold zone anomoly from the same detailed geochemical test work.

Is considered to be copper dominant anomaly, so can see a different exploration strategy or approach to a gold dominant system, where it can be important to concentrate drilling efforts more on finding bulk tonnageto build a viable resource and not lose sight of that objective by chasing high the grade veins.

This will be really interesting to see how results of next round of further geochem and geophysical survey sweeps over the big anomoly to determine drill targets and further define high grade zones pans out.

The Chilibwe mine with Market cap circa 30m just shares similar name as I understand. Chilibwe mining, do not own the mine as ‘their’ main focus is on the large scale exploration chilibwe project, which was stated somewhere in RNS to be able to make that reasonable and sensible assumption from, plus 25% of a 30m share of the company or business interest for services rendered by XTr is just crazy.

The executive director being Lukonde Makungu from Cooperlemon. The Chilibwe mine boss is Norton Munkondya. With their names not being linked together anywhere that I can find. So could be a subsidiary or more likely a seperate entity entirely. As for value of that company I have no idea, but likely to be considerably less to marginal.

Theoretically if there is sufficient new ore that will be in the updated mine plan the necessity to use all of the lower grade stockpile could be reduced.

There is always going to be exploration risks due to unknowns but the project must be worth those risks due to the size of the large scale licence and geography located central to major mines. The license area is on trend with known mineralisation indicators where historic drill data they have access to had been assessed by the company so there must be a reasonable geological justification to be confident enough toward the outlay of going into an actual drilling campaign already. It’s not virgin ground and has potential for copper, cobalt, gold and Nickel.

There seems to be good enough confidence in the project as it’s taken pride of place with the other assets on the company website.

Got to remember they are in an enviable position to be able to pick and choose assets that have the best potential.

They earn in 25% of chilbwe for providing services regardless and will elect to convert into further shares the funds provided toward exploration based on the amount of spend called the loan Conversion Shares. It’s not difficult to grasp.

New appointment is as Head of Business Development and Corporate Affairs who I assume will work under Eddie wyvill, head of corporate development. They are heads of similar teams within the company, business development is implementing new improved strategies toward more efficient operations, staffing, asset management etc. Corporate development is long term growth of the business looking for new opportunities on the horizon for expansion and diversification of new and existing assets.

Unlikely that plant capacity will be increased. Current two train configuration is ok for now , but potentially inefficient once lower grade stockpile is cleared and newly mined ore is available to supplement Hav ore from ‘27

May be, that mill capacity could actually be reduced by converting to a single train configuration of just the one 10mtpa mill or replacing both 10mtpa mills with one single mill, potentially between 10-20mtpa. A study is currently ongoing to assess future viability of converting to a single train operation so economics will dictate.

The current configuration was designed for bulk tonnage open pit mining so unless it can be kept running at full or near capacity it will not be efficient. Hav at full chat will supply 2.8-3mtpa throughput rate so leaves ample capacity.

Is it likely? Maybe, otherwise they would not be considering it, unless is an exercise so can rule it out as an option as part of the optimisation phase.

Exploration drilling particularly beyond the first reconnaissance round always has a two pronged approach for the company, firstly to build a resource and secondly to increase project value for the company. This is particularly important in the junior sector but the same principle would still apply for any explorer. So gives further cause to why exploration drilling is ‘always’ sent for independent assaying (if has indicators of mineralisation.) for validation of any future NPV

Certainly would have on site facility for full analysis from all drilling, XRF for one. Would hazard a guess grade control at mine face or stockpiling would not need to be independently certified but for actual resource delineation and definition would still need be sent to independent assay lab to comply with JORC code for a inclusion.
