RE: A lost year1 Feb 2025 16:46
Last one did come out bit 5hit jez must admit but in my defence was on third or fourth beer by then. Usually produce my best when I’m wan-kered.
Am as disappointed in the share price as anyone, but do choose to ignore it as I believe there is genuine disparity, seen similarly across the many other similar type stocks I follow closely.
We are not in a CB exclusive bubble, it’s no different seen across the junior explorers over last couple or three years decline. Nothing is going to change that, until buyers with new money return and there is a clear reversal and the news flow can be used to drive the share price forward again. CB said around 18 months ago he was going to stop worrying about the share price. Why do folk honestly believe he said that?
All the ducks aligning, are just taking so much longer than anyone could have imagined. Agree we have no idea for certain how the money is being spent or what progress has been made. But I get, as to why. Also, what the company will want to achieve to ready themselves for when that time comes to deliver.
Remember the timing of the first long drill hole at BR and what was achieved in that initial spike. That happened before the heavily saturated PR drive kicked in to rally the share price after the dead cat bounce. It was around that time resource stocks then started their slow decline. Even identifying a new porphyry was met with subdued response then continued on its journey down.
I’m not in any kind of denial as I believe, falsely or not, in what the company is having to do now in preparation for when the time is right.
I also believe in focussing on copper and positioning in Zambia is the right strategy too for M&A activities by the majors.
