Indeed, Del. We live and learn! Nobody to blame but myself but life's too short to be bitter and to dwell on such matters. My father died a couple of weeks ago and it puts it all into perspective.

Unfortunately, UVT, us LTHs have read comments like that before, whether it be the appointment of Ralph Hughes or others and nothing has come to pass. Something may happen one day, but past performance (especially recent past performance) tells me that Faron just don't have the commercial nous to get this across the line. I live in hope, of course, but the wish is the father of the thought, methinks!

Roger. You come across as very naive. Whilst it displays a total lack of class for TCG to feel it necessary to tell us about his profit-making, he is right about timing buys and sells. I've certainly learnt the hard way. AIM is a casino and hosts countless lifestyle businesses. TM has form (I was rinsed of a chunk of money in Incanthera after he mislead us all on a deal that never happened). Doing research is key and identifying the people running the businesses leads this. I invest a lot in the natural resources/mining/precious metals sector and it's the team I look to first to decide if a company could be of interest.

I sincerely hope investors can recoup losses here, but I fear TM has just done exactly what he did at Incanthera. Listening back to his interviews (where the companies pay to be featured), it's cringing and makes me feel like a fool for believing him.

Just look at what TM did to us at Incanthera. All smoke, mirrors and charm. This comes as no surprise at all.

Thank you for your considered and polite reply, AL. Much appreciated. When Rick Rule expresses and opinion, I do listen. As I tried (but maybe failed) to explain in my original post, I am not overly concerned, I was just asking a question.

I have no doubt that the management team, are world-class (that's one of the reasons I invested) and they have more than lived up to my (high) expectations.

Ha. Thank you Grezz. It was a typo and I meant 'fund' Havieron. I've received the inevitable insults and abuse from some posters for asking the question. I recall Rick Rule saying that one of the reasons he divested from Emerald Resources was that they were self-funding their developments and there was no external scrutiny that comes with external funding. I accept that Wyloo may well perform this function as they have seats on the board.

Clearly the nuance of my question is too much for some people. Let me put it another way. Do people think it would be more beneficial to have third party scrutiny that would come with (partial) reliance upon external funding? Perhaps third party scrutiny of feasibility studies etc. would be sought even if we self-fund?

W1. You’ve totally missed the point. I know we have the money. I do know what I own.

This is just as much about getting away from politics and petty squabbling.

Does anyone else share my very slight concern that we may find Havieron through FCF/bank balance? By relying upon external funding, all feasibility studies etc. would have to be scrutinised by a lender. Having that third party involvement would give me greater comfort. Self-funding would remove the need for that. I don’t want us to become over confident and succumb to confirmation bias. I have immense faith in the team, but this issue is nagging me.
