Someone somewhere is driving this SP down for an unknown reason===Recent RNS all been positive and 2018 looks good.......ANY IDEAS---if RH there must be holding RNS ?

We have Plat 27 well results around middle of month plus Mariposa so we can look forward to at least 2 bits of news,better than none. I am happy that after 2016, the Board has realised the importance of regular updates

Overall a good RNS=with potential for Mariposa to increase output again ideally around 4000bopd .My only negative is that THERE is always a small disappointment-Know regional issues outside of companies control BUT would it be great to get for once a RNS with NO negatives----We need Month Average for Dec 7000 BOPD every day. Also need to push for further drill at Mariposa as this looks to best way for bigger increases==Last Plat well at 180 bopd which is decent but we need a lot of them to push forward BUT overall not a bad RNS

Steady there thinking we may get a whole 1p increase in SP on good results lol===if any other oilie had alot of potential we would be in late 20s===Look at Angus went from 11p to 30p very quickly on a well which no one wassure about==expectations of 400bopd came in for time being at 40bopd SP back to 11p==Now Amersiur wells nearly always come in around 300/400bopd per well and plenty more to drill in 2018, all funded and Maripose higher.So if Board delivers and up to them Sp will fairly quickly re rate once PI's realise, Rex stops playing games and MM's play fair... To me Dec should be good for SP..

Whilst small oilers out of vogue,it will not really matter if the Board continue as they have on last few months and churn out increased production each month with oil going via OBA and oil above $50, the market will not overlook hopefully=Up to you Board..please do not disappoint again =a company making around £90 million with market cap of £223million

Hi Bailey Clark.totally agree with your last post. Would love to end 2017 with production about 7500bopd with OBA throughput the same and oil around $55 per barrel with average 25 days production pr month, then see rev up in 2018 ideally to about 12000bopd per day at end 2018 with oil aroud $55=60 per barrell, abit up 10,000bopd but Board promised 2019 20,000bopd.. A BIG IF but if Board do their job in 2018 and reserves stand up could see SP around 45/50p by end of 2018

Hey Bays totally understand your frustration.If you remember Sept 16 our Board forecast end 2016 7000bopd production I was very vocal against the board but after a poor start to 2017 the Board has stepped up giving us regular updates with good drilling results and what we now is to look forward to more of the same. My rough calcs were just an idea if we simply maintained 7000bopd at $35 profit in 2018 roughly $90m profit, Then say average year 10,000bopd for 2018 @ $40 per barrell =$145m for year but if we allow for 5 days a month lost production still $120m per year ie�90m per year==not bad for market cap of �233m- P/e not normally associated with E&P about 3.5. Ideally we need to know reserves but difficult as we keep drilling and finding more oil and doubt anyone could give an estimate of total Plat field reserves plus Mariposa so P/e gives a rough comparison. Can not think of another E&P earning our potential and no debt..Would welcome thoughts

Very very Rough using simple maths on a worse basis..Bopd=$50 less cost $15 (if we put 7000 barrels through OBA =$35profit per barrel x 7000bopd = appprox $250000 per day x 30 days a month =$7,500,000 per month=$90,000,000 a year less overheads of running company.Then imagine next year 10,000 bops x $45 per barrel profit. Am o being overly slistic ???

Looks like we are being held within a fairly tight belt of 17=20p. Poss Mr H doing but once we clear 21/22p think we will march on to lates 20;s then to magical 30p

read tender doc which thanks for giving us the links=Quantity is 3200bopd or more so not an average just gives us a minimum they expect so would expect average over 6 months to be more but would settle for extra 1000bopd to be adder to our income, We just need start date and will get regular income from Mariposa. We need now for no further delays on our production just regular increases in production and OBA and think 30p at new year is easily forseeable subject to poo.Any thoughts lon yrar end SP with wind in our drection???

I was being conservative at 8,000 bopd at end of 2017 and agree somewhere north of 9200bopd. Assuming no other banana skins think we could hit SP of 30p by end of 2017. I was glad to see no actual limit on our throughput of OBA-except physical constraints-and we get lowest price once we see throughput at 7000bopd So if majority of our 2017 drills come in and Mariposa continues I can not see any reason for 50p by 2018 but we would need political stability and oil around $50. Re fundraising we are fully funded for 2018 and if Mariposa needed extra, we have a debt free asset, so why dilute whilst SP is low. Bring on Xmas

Whilst there is always a cavert with our Board, I read with some comfort that current output is 7400 bopd and OBA peaked at 7137bopd..In addition by year end Plat 21 if successful will come on to production as will Marisopa although that is out of our hands. Hopefully no more bad news we could end year with 8000bopd. Come on Board we have had some bad news at least once a month.

I am happy to take avg shares as bought in to get avg at a discount .Would of liked better terms in respect of more avg shares for ours But avg very good at building businesses and then selling on Just like Melrose but much smaller scale

I guess a merger will be announced AVG very good at building up companies then selling

Price before AVNG made offer was approx 40 p. Very rare any company would offer twice SP. can't think of many examples where that has happened. Agree would like higher but History says different

NOT LONG TO WAIT AS AVNG DID TO DECIDE BY 28TH. PERSONALLY WOULD LIKE ALL SHARE MERGER AS AVNG BOARD HAVE A SIMILAR REMIT TO MELROSE=BUY UNDERPERFORMING COMPANIES=REBUILD AND SELL ON. THINK THEY WOULD DO AN EXCELLANT JOB AND HAVE £28M ON THEIR BOOKS.
