Hmmm ---- some interesting (perhaps) info everyone !! 1.----Buy and Hold !! 2.----Position trading !! 3.----Swing Trading !! 4.----Overnight trading !! 5.----Day trading !! (scalping ) !! Currently the 5 methods of, hopefully, making money out of the Stock Market My trading styles would fall into all catagorys by definition . --- Just a thought !! GLA -----

Well Dax showing remarkable strength again ( Dow coming off lows ) -- Bounced yet again off the 4 hourly trend line @ 11235/11240 --- A long off the last test of the trendline @ 11240 and oversold rsi gave me a quick + 80pts. up to rsi overbought @ 11320 -- Looks to have 11400 firmly in its sight atm ----- GLA.

FP---Just curious as to what you and F4 are calling a "swing trade " ? what levels are you swinging between and how many trades have you entered !! --or are you both just using short and long "hedge" down to the 55 ema level at around 10700/800 ?? ---just not quite sure how you are applying your "swing trade " ---thanks -- GL.

Well -----the money is pouring back into the Dax --at the expense of the Ftse100 and Dow which have hardly moved today !!---- GLA .

SirG -----GL with that !! -- DAX just bounced again off the 4 hourly @ 11235/11240 again -----the fight is on (lol) ---- GL.

Just curious --- Is nobody interested in the Dow atm (lol)--- i know GB is interested in the Ftse100 ( nice drop on that GB ) ----Dow has some big swings as well atm !! ---- Shorts on EMG , SMDS, closed in profit ,---HSBA long closed in profit ---SL ,50% CNA and DOM shorts still open --- Applied for DFS ipo yesterday ---fingers firmly crossed on that one !! --- GLA.

Dax 4 hourly rsi30 was touched on the drop to 11200 this morning ( hence my required level ) ----this was also below the current 4 hourly bottom channel line @ 11235/11240 where it duly bounced too and held( so far) --moving on up to 11260 ish . --dropping back as i post to test the 4 hourly chart again !!--- Interesting time now with the Dax !!---a drop back to 11200 and slightly below maybe now, to drop below and test the 4 hourly again -----spikes down to 11000/11050 perhaps intraday !! --- or hold at around 11200 and move on up ------very interesting now at these levels !! --- GLA.

Good Morning Guys --yes , the drop continues hopefully !!-----a nice big negative candle/shooting star close yesterday gave us a good drop this morning after an initial attempt at a rally---- Short @ 11300 this morning and another triggered @ 11250 ---closed out for a 105pt. total -----reached my 11200 level i was looking for--- a small long from there has added another 50 pts ------ FP--GL with your swing trade ---what levels have you in mind either way ??--- GLA.

FP---Very Good Morning ---Well 11450 short order triggered again @ 11452 gave me 2 posns. average 11426--- Closed both out @ 11427 for a 2pt. overall loss ---- I'm out completely again now and happy to be so atm !! --may now start to go go long of the bottom of the RSI (30) rather than short off the top (70) --- My EMG short going well , SL and SMDS not so atm !! --- GL sir.-----

A rising Dow !!----that was always the danger for shorts on the Dax --no catalyst for a sustained pull-back atm ---being well overbought just isn't cutting the mustard ?? --- GLA ----

Oh dear , here we go again ----short order triggered @ 11401, i really should be going long again off these intra-day drops !! -- A tp of 25pts. for now !! -- GLA.

Last Dax short just closed out @ 11370( + 43 pts. ) ----out completely now !!---further big drops will come now, i've no doubt, cos i'm out !! Short order in for below 11350 or above 11400 again --- GLA.

One Dax short closed out just @ 11390 ( +23 pts ) ---just one short left running ---- GLA.

Good Morning All ----- well had to play some tactical trades this morning on the Dax --it's gonna pull back but god knows when !! Closed 2 of my shorts @ 11398 ( -46pts. ) --then a long off 11407 for +45 pts. ---triggered another short order @ 11450 -- Currently 2 open short posns. av. now 11413 ( so down just 40 pts atm.) with a higher av. ---- If i'd have just gone long in the first place like i wanted too !! ----- GLA ---getting all a bit too "silly" this (lol) --- Short EMG (197.2p)and SL.(425.3p) this morning ( over extended a bit now --so fingers crossed ) ----
