FP /GB ---- Good Afternoon both ---i've been doing nothing else other than go long off the Dax "down-spikes" and i feel like i'm in "heaven" atm (lol) -----the pips/pts. are coming in thick and fast ----latest trade was long off 11800 this morning ---still running with it as i post this !!---- GL both ----

GB ---well done , hang in there !!-- Dax has been excellent to trade today ----short off 11900 , long off 11800 this afternoon has given me ,by far ,my best ever trading day on just one Index ----over 540 pts/pips. atm ---- 1 min . had a reversal confirmed and it's only the weakness in the Dow that is holding it back from much higher atm. --- GL.

Dax looks like it wants to go higher but is gonna drop further short term ---let's see !!-- Good little 1 minute downtrend atm !!-- GLA.

FP --Good Morning ---yes , time noted and thanks---hope you got to bed soon after !!---- Too busy with the Dax atm to have a good look with that or sprints but will do , i promise ---- Can't believe the Dax 1 min. is giving me these trades so easily atm ---only lunch time and those swings up off the 4 hourly bottom channel again and down off near 12000 again and a couple of smaller moves in -between have netted me over 330 pts. so far !!-- My max. s/l is still 50pts. so a couple of trades the wrong way and that profit will be gone --so care still needed!!-- Gone short of Standard Life again --way, way overbought now (lol) -- Aviva longs doing well again -- Gone long ( small for now) on IMG ---further drops maybe seen as a couple of brokers came in negative today but it's an old fav. of mine , as you know, so fingers crossed !!-- QPP ----storming ahead ,i see, --you still in there FP ?? -- Your current thought on AFREN ?? --- GL sir ----

Another bounce on the Dax again off its 4 hourly bottom channel @ 11825 has given me a final 46 pts for the day -- a good day today for me !!-- Time for a break , unless any obvious happens (lol) -- GLA.---

Yes--triggered my previously posted Dax 11980 short & another one off the well overbought spike @ 12000 --both just closed out @ 11900 ----a nice 180pts . to add to a good haul today --- GLA.

FP ---quick question --which "euro" catagory are you trading ?? ---FX near quarter Euro/Usd ? or "spot " ? or one of the others ? --- cheers !!- GL.

Well,-----Very well done to the Ftse100 i say ---let's see if it holds and pushes on to 7000 !!--- GLA.

GB/F4 ---just reading back , i did put £1000-00 ---i meant £10,000-00 of course as F4 suggests !!-- Dax swings on the 1 minute giving excellent trading opps---- few more banked !!-- GL.

GB---- If you use Spread Betting as just another way of Buying and Selling stocks and shares initially and don't get into commodities and sprints and euro/dollar etc.etc.etc. and install/use the same disciplines as going thru' a Broker ie: stop losses and limits , then i would say to anyone it is no more "dangerous" than going thru' an ordinary Broker etc. ---- The buy/sell spread , we all know, is wider/larger using Spreads but there is no CGT or commission or stamp duty to pay !!--- Start with a DUMMY account and £1000-00 to play with ,for as long as you feel you need to become happy with your approach to Spread Betting !!-- By it's very nature Spread betting is designed to be used on a much shorter time scale than Buying and Holding --- That's why i have some long termers in a Halifax share dealing online account and Hargreaves Lansdown for my Funds & Bonds !!-- Hope that helps ?? ---- Experience is crucial , we know, ---so get a couple of Dummy accounts with different Spread Betting firms and gain that experience !!-- GL.

F4 --tend to agree , and i've answered many times to posters asking me the same thing on other bb's !!-- Wouldn't like to think i was responsible for any ones losses other than my own !!-- Just a personal thing --- Missed the long , just ,on the Dax spike but had 11960 as a short level which was triggered for 40 pts. ----it's punched back above it again as i post i see!!-- If it gets above 11880 again then another short will be triggered ----closer s/l's for me this time around ( 50/60 max.) limit the damage as dax is still Bullish overall --just needs to pull-back a bit more yet !!- GL.

0ops -- meant 165 pts . of course --- GLA. --back above 11900 again as i post ,--no long for me yet as it's just gone overbought !!--

FP/All --good afternoon ----a good day on the Dax for me so far !!-- Short from the break of 12000 early on ( s/l 12060 ) down to low 11800's gave me 65pts. ---bounced off the 4 hourly i posted about yesterday in low 11800's ---went long at 11845 up to 11900 for 55 pts. ---- Early 1 minute downtrend obviously reversed and confirmed now --out at the moment ---11840 and 11900 the channel/band to watch atm -- GLA.

Btw --took a bit a bit of a loss on my SL shorts( still overbought tho' atm) --but made up for it on recent ESUR longs ( swings and roundabouts again ) -- GL.

FP ---- I simply can't leave it alone !!----- looks like a better pull-back this time , so a risky short off that 1 minute 12060 res. @ 12045 has just given me 75 pts. ----- Extended 4 hourly bottom line stands at around 11800 now ----pundits have 11900 as good support area -- Long for me anywhere between the two !!-- (perhaps--lol) --- GL ---

Morning Everyone ------Nice little pull-back on the Dax this morning !!--well overdue !!-- One careful short and one careful long this morning and the drop has means that now i am now actually 25 pts. up overall --so more than happy now to close out the Dax and wait for any further drop to get back in long !!- GLA.
