Yes , the technical outlook is improving for BP . Long way to go yet but initial signs are good ... just needs to close above that 454p now tho' !! Nice gap up to around 472p ready to be filled after that !! GL both .....

Morning All .... Vive la France !! Well, out of EZJ for just +10pts. .... But what a roller coaster on the Dax ... stopped out yet again on a 12810 Short as it continued on its merry way north prior to the election result but finally got it right ( phew) with Shorts off the drop last night and again this morning !! Buy the rumour , sell the fact ... isn't that what they say ? Well , i got half of that right ... eventually !! GLA ......

MTB .....yes , up 12 points at the close but unfortunately an extremely bullish Dax put paid to that when it took me out of that 12681 Short on my s/l !! The Dax then shot up another 100pts or so almost in a straight line after that .... the trade was Long really , with the trend !! It's levelled off since just after 5pm . and even had a crack at 12800 ... it's very overbought now on most time frames so another crack at 12800 will see me Short again with a tight s/l. The French election result could see things go haywire tho' so caution is required in abundance !! GL sir .....

Yes , just to confirm again .... i did post yesterday & today that if 1198p res. was overcome then there was a big gap up to be filled !! Sorta coming to pass , i suspect ..... Anyway , took me out of my Short yet again for another 8 pt. loss .... getting to be a habit that !! Gone Short again now at 1269.23p ... near as i could get to that 50% retrace. marker !! Also Dax Short 12681.2 a few mins. ago ...... GLA .....

Just this minute gone Short EZJ again 1251.76p ..... a 44p rise again today up to around or very near to the 50% retracement level on a good RNS before the open !! False Breakout ? ...... not so sure , but i did post yesterday that once 1198p was re-taken then the gap up was a biggy , i really should have followed my own " advice" and gone Long , lol..... so my Short will only have to run against me for a few points and i'll be out again !! What ever happened to the good old overbought RSI eh ?? ... As you say NFP data out today may be interesting !! .... GLA ......

Thanks to all for the good wishes for the better half ... Got back about an hour ago , been stuck in A & E . till then .... Why do women always get poorly on nice sunny days or on nice volatile market days ..... No consideration at all ... lol . Keeping her in hospital overnight now as blood pressure dropped very low while in doctors surgery and she flaked out all over the floor .... looking on the bright side , i've got an evening all to myself !! Optimus ...... nice work to get out of EZJ with some sort of profit . It's that overbought now it beggars belief but hey ho , looks like the 1198p res. has gone and now there's rather a big gap up ready to be filled . I got out with a 5 point loss on my stop .... drat & double drat ... but may have another go tomorrow !! I'm Dax Short again from 12650.5 which is very close to the midday high .... so we'll see . Dow is down a bit which might help ..... GLA .......
