Hello GS , hope you're well and making good money on those funds.

Optimus is quite right , of course , with his technical view on AV.
Bearish atm. from nearly every technical point of view since the recent fall below the 400p ish
level.
Not difficult to see that ... so no need for Kevlar Vests etc etc etc !! ( hello task )
But i'm in from a lot lower down and with a 30p dividend ( 7.5% ) to back up the fundamentals
i'm not worried about a re-visit to lower levels . ( altho' i did top slice after the fall below 400p just to protect some profits , as i said previously i may do ).
Leave all the technical mumbo jumbo to Opt.& Task ....
I didn't even consider shorting from the recent 440p highs .... i'm a changed "trader " (lol) !!

It's sunday afternoon and i just thought i'd call by with an early mince pie or two .
Not a soul in sight , so i guess you must all be out for lunch or visiting friends & family ?

I've been having lots of tests and lots of doctors and nurses trying to force and shove lots of cameras and tubes in and up
places they were never meant to go !!
Wish i could say it was " delightful " but at best i think just " interesting " in a curious sort of way .
Anyways i'm still here and lurking ( lol) .
I'm mainly in Bonds & Cash for now , although i have gone HEAVILY into ITV following that guy Robbie Burns aka. The Naked Trader.
My ITV comp. entry isn't going very well for me but my actual buys are making me a lotta dosh atm.
He still sees a takeover/bid coming and looking at the current 12 monthly & 6 monthly charts it's broken back above the 140p ish. highs. which is very encouraging .
Uptrend looks great but i may just consolidate a few thousand very soon .
Also now very HEAVY in Aviva .
Recent lows around the 350p ish level saw heavy buying and the chart trend has continued up to around the 440p stiff resistance marker .
It's looking to establish that 400p - 440p band, so coming days will be crucial .
Above 440p again and 500p beckons !!
Have ( on paper anyway ) retrieved my LC&F Bond losses with ITV & AV. so i have to be vigilant .
Bankruptcy case is still ongoing with LC&F but still might get a few thousand back , fingers crossed .

Will drop in again nearer Christmas so until then i hope you all keep smashing those trades .
Have left the mince pies on the table so please help yourselves !!

Still holding some AVIVA , ITV and ETO .
My Funds are picking up a bit as well as my Bonds but no decision on my London Capital & Finance mini bond at the moment .
Dumped my remaining CAR a while ago for a loss .
Trying to get over a really nasty virus that's doing the rounds .... so not feeling 100% atm.
The weather's being kind to us , so been out and about a fair bit until the " dreading lurgy " hit !!

Good to see you're all making a bit of money on your trades .... GS was extremely fortunate to get out of PLUS500 in time .
Nasty drop on that , with brokers targeting as low as a fiver i read somewhere ??

Brexit taking centre ( center ) stage on all the news channels atm ... along with the possibility of a new " centre " party by all the breakaway MP's.

Moving house and divorce are the two most stressful situations in life they say .

GS .... i don't think that a lost vote on tuesday will clarify any uncertainty for the markets , rather the opposite , as it will probably mean that a no-deal is more likely and that will put the jitters big time into the markets .
That's just my humble opinion ... we'll soon see , not long to go now !!

Struggling with the 400p barrier today.... some of the techs. slowing down and indicating a tad over done on current run .
In for a bit of consolidation perhaps .... needs to hold 400p on a closing basis .
Would like to see any consolidation halted at the 380p marker .
MA's still +tive so hopefully once any pullback is out of the way and the 400p hurdle has been overcome i might see break even with my current holding !!

Mid Wales was verrrry cold yesterday but pleasant while the sun was out .

Pump prices are down another 1p / litre at all major supermarkets, Sainsbury's being forced to join in the price war between Asda , Tesco & Morrisons .

Getting my Plymouth's mixed up with my Portmouth's (lol) ....but as Optimus points out , both are steeped in history and well worth the visit .

Worrying news on one of my slightly more risky investments .
London Capital & Finance are being investigated by the FCA . and have been told to stop any " trading " in their mini bonds and isa's.
Not covered by the FCS , so i knew the risks ... but have to say the news came as a bit of an early blow to the start of my 2019 portfolio !!
I think i'll just get slowly p****d on peroni and gorge myself stupid on yesterdays left over ham sandwiches .
