Again already , where does it all go (lol) ---Good Morning Everyone -----Optimus , well done , i think it's going a bit higher but profits banked are always welcome . Was tempted to add more BRIT this morning but held off .Added more QPP and AV. instead. ---Closed my TSCO shorts and added a few longs ( may regret it but a bounce up to 277/280 is long overdue ) -----Dow and Dax longs from friday night are both doing well ---hoping for a decent bounce on both , but geopolitical pressures could easily push the US into a Bear market rather than a Correction ---16350./ 16280 must hold to stop that happening ----otherwise lots of Blue on the leader board ------------Optimus , haven't bothered with GOLD yet , but it will just be a simple "hedge " short against the US market , simple suits my trading style better , (lol) -----but keep me updated on how you're doing when you go live ?? ------------------------------VGLA ----

A quick opinion on sp ----i did close @ 5.05 p after results and re-opened @ 496 p ( a little early it would seem ) ---- still in that current small downtrend from the the june 530's high but some good res. and supp. levels to work with now ---support comes in @ around 490 / 488 p , from early April and more recently mid July , early Aug. ----resistance is now obviously the dreaded 500 p level but more significantly the 510 p level ( Armani , can't see your 517 p res ? ) ---above 510 p and a case can be made that the small downtrend is broken . !! ----Fundamentals are looking very sound , as other posters have pointed out --- but from a technical perspective i would not rule out a drop to 480 p ( perhaps even just on an intra-day basis , especially if the Dow turns south again with all the Geopolitical pressures mounting ) ---- 200 EMA s down @ 480 p , and it's going to test its 200 EMA at some point , might as well be now rather than later -------50 EMA is up @ 509 p at the moment -----45 ish on the RSI , neutral MACD , Bollingers @ around 479 p and 517 p ( there's Armani's 517 p !! ) -- puts it all pretty much at the centre of the " universe " at the moment , looking north and south wondering which way to go next (lol) --If anyone knows for sure then pray tell (lol) ------I will most definately be adding on further drops a bit at a time , or on a break of 500 /510 p -----------The Markets are closed so no apologies from me for the length of this post (lol) --JMVVHO , DYOR , WTFDIKA ---GLA.

Spreads will vary , that's why i have two accounts .----in big Market Corrections or "Bear Markets" they have in the past increased their margin calls and they will close ALL your positions if your account goes down to zero "trading resource " --One of them will send you an e-mail or text if your account is near the limits , but i can't remember which one does it is ? ---GL.

Down to that next touch is just a Correction technically -- a Bear Market is going to need a drop of around 15-20 % -- so ignore my 16000 bear market bit ------ lots of differing views on exactly where and when Bear markets actually begin ---GL.

you had to read my last post to Volcano --seems he has a problem with me !! ------------------I see you've asked the same question on POG , so rather puts me on the spot (lol) --i also see you've posted several times on the Technicals of the Indicies , so you 're pretty savvy already i would say . ----------------------can only give my opinion on the DOW , as all others ie, Ftse and Dax will depend on what the US does anyway ----------------Dow is bearish now ( since break of 16700 ) but a long way off a "Bear Market " ---i see this as a long overdue pull-back . Very bearish as far as the 2014 uptrend is concerned but not the uptrend from the 2009 low --- next touch on that channel bottom is just below 16000 at the moment --below 16000 we would be in a Bear Market .------ non-farm payrolls stopped the rot today but if 3rd quarter results keep disappointing then the low of 16444 which was the futures low , and has twice been tested and held today , will give way to 16400 and then 16350 --below that is 16200 . ---Dow 20,000 was being talked about a few days ago , but that needs 17150 to be overcome ---those are the lines in the sand as i see them at the moment ----------------------FXempire .com ( if you don't already know of it ) is an excellent written and Audio website giving daily and weekly analysis of all Indicies and Commodities etc ----the Audio Analysis is much better than the written posts --i have found them to be very accurate , well certainly more than most !! ---sorry the post is so lengthy , that is one of my problems i WILL own up to (lol) -- I wish you GL .

Waiting for the sunshine again (lol) ---You may be right on Icap , but i think 320 p is a better buy-in level --it runs the new ISDX market , spoke to their people the other day on an ISDX matter and they said they are hoping for "big things" on their fledgeling market with expansion into more companies ( only about 600 at the moment listed ) --they would like to attack AIMS's presence more aggressively --and already have ISA compatability ----brokers "buy" on Esure i see this morning . --- can only deal on ISDX thru' your broker at present, but they hope to have access thru' spread betting and direct online access very soon -----GL.
