We are told the HAZOP test will be completed early Q323. MSC Leandra leaves Felixtowe on 12th July and I think she then heads to the states (correct me if i am wrong) so hopefully the HAZOP test is completed this week.

70% is no suprise to me. I have lost count of the number of open offers there have been with the BOD stating we have never been so close to going commercial. I am looking forward to Vince's questions to JM this week.

MSC Leandra has left Gothenburg and is now heading to Bremerhaven where she arrives sunday afternoon. I don't think we have any idea now when the HAZOP test will take place.

I agree Kalonik. I think it will be less than 50% take up of the open offer. When they keep telling us year afer year they have never been closer to going commercial the confidence drops significantly.

MSC - Discussions with third party fuel suppliers for the Proof-of-Concept and Letter of No Objection trials on board the MSC Leandra are progressing positively. The intended outcome of these discussions is to conclude a Tripartite Agreement between the supplier, MSC and Quadrise as soon as possible. The vessel is currently in dry dock being prepared for testing, which is now expected to commence in Q4 2023. Quadrise and MSC are scheduling the bioMSAR™ hazard identification and operability study as recommended by Wärtsilä, which assesses feasibility and safe operability prior to use on the vessel's 2-stroke main engine. With positive trial progression, Quadrise, MSC, and other key stakeholders expect to commence discussions in H1 2024 with regard to commercial supply to MSC's fleet.

46G...Your posts regarding MSC and Americas are regarding milestones that have been pushed back further again. They have both been pushed back over 2 years now from when they were first expected to be completed.

To answer my own question I am sure the answer is no so it looks like MSC will be the first major shipping company to trial a new green fuel. If the trial is succesful the media coverage will be absolutely huge.

MSC Leandra has just docked in Gothenburg. Hopefully all parties are there today to complete the HAZOP.

I agree Stockcheque but there may be many business reasons why JM is no longer going to the conference.

Msc Leandra is now on her way to Gothenburg arriving in the early hours on Thursday. Hopefull the HAZOP test will be completed while she is there as speculated.
