Hi Tenantry - all big pharmas will have a group of people who spend their time watching what small companies like Sareum are doing - who's exploring what, who's been granted patents, what stage are they at with trials etc.

Our BoD have links with various big companies so I'm sure it isn't just GSK looking at us. Who will blink first? Plus whatever (if anything) is offered to us for a takeover will have to be voted on by shareholders. We have the power to say no to an offer and wait for more. Let's not sell ourselves short!

As for interest outside of EU/US, I wouldn't be surprised if, cough, cough, 'friends' of the Aurora-Flt3 licensing partner have already had a good sniff around the computers at SAR HQ. I hope our chaps use decent security software.

I wonder if Parker could drop a wee Tweet as and when PH have created a broker note for large investors. As others have pointed out, we punters aren't likely to see it, but it would be good to know PH are being active in that respect. Maybe something along the lines of, "I'm delighted with the report PH have made exclusively available to institutions looking to invest in cutting edge science."

No need for an RNS but it would be enough to keep shareholders happy.

Re your guess that they are looking to raise enough funds from the on license of 1801 to take 1802 possibly into stage 3.

Whilst there are clear benefits from your suggested approach (essentially self-funding and no dilution), the BoD must have considered that route prior to getting PH on board to source larger investment. Is it more likely that rather than wait for an on-license, they intend to reduce timescales by getting institutional investment now and possibly run 1801/2 trials in tandem?

Hi Rio - that's the question we all want an answer to; what will the SAR endgame look like?

It might be fair to assume we are currently sitting in the middle of a trade-off.

What I mean by that is large pharma are broadly aware of what we have and where we're at in terms of progress, therefore they will have a current valuation in their minds (tempered by various news reports of would-be wonderdrugs eventually failing and losing them billions). The flipside is SAR HQ will have all the data generated so far and will know which direction to best go in to maximise value - keep in mind the millions of post-consolidation shares the board has!

By the end of this year we should have the CTA complete and P1 trials started, perhaps income from SRA737, maybe some progress on Aurora/Flt3 or further patents etc. It all adds to our value.

Currently I think big pharma would offer too little. Wait until we have positive P1 trial data and that will all change.

Hi Bailiff - yep, I was surprised we got such a good deal with the spread.

I'm still adjusting to the new fangled post-consolidation figures so feel much better knowing I've moved another 768,000 shares out of the taxman's grip. Mind you, my £50+ target sp now seems more of a pipe dream than £1 ever did!

Just ignore what I mentioned previously re the residual shares from the consolidation, the slight difference in my cash holding was down to the bed &ISA .

My method for getting straight through is to start dialling their number a few seconds before 8am and press the last number at 7:59:59 (keep an eye on the GMT website!)

Anyway, doesn't look like the transfer has happened yet but I think the 11 shares I 'lost' during the consolidation process have been dealt with as I now have a couple of quid more showing as cash in my accounts compared to yesterday.

Hope you're not suffering too much with musak and 'our lines are very busy and your call is important to us......'
