If the US sales team is marketing 1801 as a 'pipeline in a pill' and 737+combo as a potential game changer based on the various clinical & preclinical studies, any interested party would also likely enquire about 1802 showing efficacy in translational studies and the new CNS compound(s). Once 1801's tox profile is fully understood I really hope this has t/over written all over it.

As long as we don't get a post-close RNS then all eyes will be on Monday at 7am. If by chance SP is reading this, shareholders would really like to get a 'dosing complete' RNS even if the BoD can't elaborate too much for now.

I'm guessing a few of today's trades below the mid are actually buys.

The recent British Journal of Cancer paper (part funded by the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation!!) discovered 737+hydroxyurea had dramatic results against high-grade serous ovarian cancer in the lab. The BBC article notes the AbbVie drug mirvetuximab soravtansine is delivered by infusion - wouldn't a couple of pills taken at home be the preferable option? That said, clearly not all interventions work equally well across all patients.

Probably just splitting hairs here but in the absence of news, what else is there to do? Anyway, I think the current trial RNS was released after the study had been running for at least 4 days (the point at which the previous study failed). It probably took a few weeks from the date of cessation to the release of the news as both BoD & lab would want to know as much of the facts before announcing anything.

Given the restart RNS was issued at 7am on 17th Feb., the text would have to have been written at least the day before and the lab would have to have dosed animals for a minimum of 4 days plus the time to analyse blood samples to ensure the vehicle was not a recurring issue. This is why I'm thinking the dosing should now be complete give or take a day or so.

The restart RNS noted, "We look forward to providing further updates as the programme progresses", so I'd expect an RNS to at least say dosing went without issue and they will now look to build a P2-ready datapack.

In other news the sp looks like it's back up!

Hi Andy, hope all is well at your end. I think after the previous failure with the vehicle compound the BoD will have taken every step to mitigate falling into the same trap twice. If memory serves, JR has stated "we know it's safe" so whilst you'd expect him to defend his invention, the data released so far from the Oz trial appears to support his opinion.

If the BoD knew the sh it was about to hit the fan then SP wouldn't (or shouldn't!) have said "...we are advancing business development discussions around our pipeline of assets", in the latest CC.

Not sure how far forward someone can forward sell shares before the MMs want the shares handed over. An exercise of warrants RNS tomorrow might steady things if that's the source of the sells.

Just thinking: is it actually better for us for a warrant holder to forward sell now ahead of news as opposed to selling once news is out? If good news appears and the sp goes on a healthy rerate, selling large numbers of shares might stall a chunky price increase.

Hi Nav - there are the original 2021 warrants expiring mid-June, July & Aug but their execution prices are in the £££s so unless the BoD have offered them new warrants at lower prices as a sort of gesture of goodwill then I don't see them having any impact. Plus, if the BoD did offer new terms they would have to ping out an RNS.

Just to add, didn't Shepherddollar say something along the lines that they would sell up around April no matter what? Maybe just selling off the last bunch?

If it is forward selling of warrants, why do it ahead of (assumed) good news that should give the sp a healthy kick upwards? Possibly just someone needing funds in the here and now for other things.

Hi DJ - I'd only top-up if it lowers your average. My guess is the dosing will complete Wed/Thurs so there might be a positive RNS within 7 days. After the previous tox study failed, the BoD fine-tuned the vehicle used for the current study. We know 1801 performed better than anticipated in the P1a studies so the gamble has reduced greatly. I'd be surprised (and annoyed) if positive news was already priced in.

I still think the BoD MIGHT be holding off on a sole 737 license deal in order to seek a t/over once 1801 data is fully known.

I see Avacta issued a positive RNS today and their share price dropped too. As a wise man once said, if the sp always went up in a straight line then something, something, something, though I'm paraphrasing a bit there.

The site had an out of date certificate the other week that was causing problems depending on your browser. One of my anti-tracker apps (Privacy Badger) was also preventing the various RNS files to be shown, a quick tweak at my end fixed that issue.

The future is bright.

If we got onto the daily Risers Board, say, three days in a row, that'd get the attention of potential new investors. We might then see if warrant holders want to exercise more and sell into the growing market for a quick return, though they may prefer to hold now for the endgame.

Payday just around the corner so might see increased buying tomorrow/Monday. Possibly now at start of final week of dosing - RNS at the end of next week or start of the following week should hopefully inject enough enthusiasm that the sp gains decent momentum from here on rather than a brief spike and retrace.
