Hi Jon - I think some might be reading too much into the UK/England change.

It's entirely possible that his accountant or authorised agent made the change during a routine review of all of their clients' details. You may then ask what's the difference between declaring that you live in the UK and declaring you live in one of the four nations. Simply, the govt. can use the data to see how many company directors etc. live in each nation or use it for tax purposes (Scotland having its own rates of income tax) and so on. Aha, you say, surely they could just use postcode data! Yes, but if a website allows you to select a nation from a pick list then you don't need to faff about with a lookup table to allocate a postcode to a region or try to interpret typing mistakes etc.

Not having a go at anyone, just saying there are plenty of less exciting reasons why changes can appear.

Hi Blue - I'm not too sure what submitting the CTA will do for the sp. Perhaps a brief spike but as it's been on the cards for a few months, it might already be priced in. The market is a fickle mistress.

However the greater lift in sp might be just a few weeks away if GSK announce in July what their intentions are for 737. As someone with a bit of industry knowledge recently posted here, they're very happy with their investment and want to add more. If that doesn't say 'make sure your seat is in an upright position and fasten your safety belts' then I don't know what does (with all the caveats of putting faith in anonymous internet chat).

Hi DP/Blue - yeah, you're quite right that things can change but perhaps they don't need that particular distraction for now. Once the GSK/Sierra deal is done and we hear what's to happen with 737 then that will give us all a clearer picture of what options might be open to us.

IF it transpires that GSK are over the moon at getting 737 then I can picture a scenario where once we get through the 1801 initial trial and know what we're targeting, then I could imagine a merger similar to the Sierra deal, with Tim & John kept on to progress 1801/2.
