Morning Krone, I'd hope as a minimum the report appears on the SAR website or some preprint server.

At the very least an associated RNS should highlight the key facts and figures and maybe even put a notional value on 1801.

Hi C79 - hope you had a good time whatever you were doing. With the peer reviewed results of 1801 being written up I suspect there could be a bit of a race between you, me and Krone to find it and post links before an official RNS announcement. A bag of Wotsits to the winner.

Hi Laz - irrespective of what punters will do, I'm not sure if the BoD could sell shares at the moment to settle tax liabilities as they must have fairly critical insider info what with the imminent 1801 report, status of 737 milestones and any talks with interested parties. If they know the future is rosy they might look elsewhere for funds to pay their tax bills rather than sell off shares on the cheap. Though not sure what the rules say about this.

And just to add, page 23 in the link below makes reference to Sierra (so by extention 737) and suggests their own Chk1 is better. But then they would say that!

Hi Nick - Boundless Bio have their own CHK1 compound, BBI-355. When I came across BB a while back I thought they might be the mystery pharma as their chief science officer was with Sierra and has his name on a number of 737-related patent applications. They were privately owned but have since floated on the NASDAQ.

Maybe Tim feels more at home talking directly to peers in the science/pharma community rather than shareholders carrying pitchforks and burning torches. Even if he doesn't, I'll bet the audience are smart enough to recognise not everyone enjoys public speaking but as long as the message gets across that 1801/2 are worthy competitors in the global market then it's job done.

Cue suggestions from some quarters that I'm an apologist for the BoD but cut the dude some slack on the oration front, no one's perfect.

Whilst the recent slideshow gave a comparison between drugs in relation to the PASI-75 measure (which we won't have any data on as 1801 hasn't been trialled in psoriasis patients yet), I'd hope the 1801 paper will contain direct comparisons between 1801 & competitors with regard to the various biomarkers. Nothing catches the eye quite like a good graph showing a clear superiority of one drug over another.

I think things might pick up pace once the peer reviewed 1801 paper is published. If the results are as good as the recent presentation suggests, the paper will reach a wider audience across the pharma world and interest will accelerate from there.

True, Warthog. If the peer reviewed 1801 results and 737 milestones due by the first week of Jan don't get things moving then I don't know what will. I'm just as frustrated as everyone else but at least the business itself is moving in the right direction with millions in the bank to progress 1801 & 2.

While the peer-reviewed 1801 study paper shouldn't contain any surprises for the BoD, they may know a few bits and pieces about 737 & the US-bio that they can't let on about just yet. Plus they'll also know what's been unofficially offered by parties interested in 1801 re potential future deals, so they must have a lot of insider info which would prevent them buying for the foreseeable future.

Only posting this link to give a very rough guide re typical values of license deals at each stage of drug development. The analysis doesn't differentiate between, say, oncology drugs and immuno drugs etc. and it doesn't cover royalties in any detail since they can vary greatly or aren't fully disclosed so make of it what you will.
