Blackisle - if this all goes to plan then you can be one of those people who advertise their immense wealth simply by wearing lurid coloured trousers. You know the sort - often seen around bistros in Antibes and concours d'elegance events ;-)

Hi Bobbler - you're completely right but in the eyes of a potential suitor, they may put a large price on the difference between pat. pending and patent granted.

I little while back I posted a link to the IPO website that details the allowance for an accelerated application where they carry out the search & examination at the same time. This could reduce the timescale to just 6mths. I'm sure the BoD had their reasons for taking the slow route and I'm sure we'll find out in due course.

I have a feeling the sp is falling in much the same way the tide goes out just before a tsunami hits the beach. Only another 20 days until we find out the full details of the secret patent application. It might not have much of an impact on the sp as it's still pending being granted but who knows? Though I expect the sp will pick up from the middle of next week as speculation increases.

Might head off to higher ground in order to get a better view of the impending wave ;-)

Hi RMM, we should find out full details of our secret patent application in 3wks time. Depending on the details, do you envisage our sp gaining, say, a penny or two, or do you think any related increase in sp has already been factored in?

Clearly a difficult question to answer but I suspect many here would appreciate your views.

MediMan - I've also thought about going all in on SAR but apart from the fact my other holding is quite underwater at present and I can't bring myself to sell off at such a loss, just remember that Warren Buffett wasn't invested in just one company.

I've said before that it's probably better to regret not having more shares in a company than regret having too many.

Hi Ahfam, I understand what you're saying re the sp though I haven't looked at how any of his publicised investments/associations with other companies have impacted the respective share prices.

Either way, I'm happy if it's Bill Gates and equally happy if it's Billy No-Gates.

I'm baffled as to why some of Gate's investments get media exposure yet IF he has bought in to Sareum, why the radio silence?

The only reason I can think of is that as we are still some way off a phase III trial success, he may therefore not want his name publicly associated with what could potentially be a failure (despite the top notch science).

Perhaps the Bod could give some sort of cryptic Tweet such as, 'We've just had a bill for new gates at the office. #justsayin'
