Now my worst investment ever ... takes some doing. Directors hardly helping the SP. When was last time they bought any shares or take any remedial action. Should I average down? Bargain or further to fall?

Doesn’t matter what people on here would do, I doubt BOD would sell at 25p unless there are unknown issues.

You could be right but surely the BOD are doing sometig behind the scenes. Might have to wait a bit for some good news unfortunatley.

The general optimism on this board is to be commended but as someone who can remember when SP was 60p and is currently sitting on an average of 20p you’ll understand that Malcy’s sycophantic murmurings mean SFA to me and a good few others. I suspect MDC will be looking to get some of their money back by selling their 30% ... not long to wait until we find out.

Not convinced .. the production figures alone shouldnt vary that much to make a difference to any potential bid so there is absolutely nothing stoopping these being published and other news coming later. Personally I dont think this will turn out to be anything sigificant however I would be delighted to be wrong.

Cash position in half year results - should be significant, I think maybe $70-$80m - Guess work , could be a whole lot less

Acquisitions, the latest acquisition is just the tip of the iceberg. You have to ask why did we get that one? When the company selling it had previously agreed to sell it to another buyer? - Maybe the seller sees no value?
