Apologies not needed. You just bought in, then had some doubts about that decision and were looking for reassurance, just to find an empty echo chamber ;-)

There has been a long general downtrend since Jan 2021 it only recently turned at end of March. You could not really have timed it too much better. Lot of potential upward movement from here an lots of good results to come ( I hope! )

and 29/03 at 1pm
and 11/03 at 9am
and 07/02 3.26pm
etc etc etc

IMHO from a chart perspective its still (just) on uptrend, sneaked slightly below upward trend line today on daily chart ( hits my trend line at 2.12 so could stabilise around there ) though still a bit above it on weekly chart. Been quite some rise over last few weeks, so bit of pullback was due at some point. There is also support line at 1.92 ish I 'think' it will not drop further than that.

If your in long term then you have a good price anyway. If it does go lower you can always average down. Lots of shares completely tank on news of placings - it has not really done that today

As for it being quiet, I quite like that. Board is not flooded with derampers and trash talkers ( yet ) think it's still quite under the radar at the moment

RNS is expected soon yes, likely several due

however this does not necessarily mean it would come prior to the stockbox interview. Just as likely that we have put 2 and 2 together to come up with the answer that RNS is coming before interview. There was interview last month and we did not hype up RNS this much at that time.

Expect minor updates in interview and RNS could still be a few weeks away

{ though secretly hoping there is still time, GR does seem to do RNS randomly including intraday and after hours so anything can happen }

unfortunately Tatty99 since CEO/director changes earlier in the year the PR/news side of PHE is sorely neglected. Including the disappearance of the monthly newsletter. So not really surprised they have not mentioned anything about this Ireland deal as they have been AWOL for months.

Does not help the share price as people lose interest and move on.

personally the Poly shares in my ISA am looking to hold them as long as forever
at theoretically close to 50% of my money back every year in dividend, there would be no reason to sell
will use the divi to buy further long term divi providers within the ISA wrapper

cheers. I've never really looked into these in detail, have always used just candles and volume, nothing else. Partly a touch of OCD as I like a clean chart lol. Never even used moving averages.

I've been pretty good last couple years with medium to long term investments, shorter terms ones been a little more hit and miss. Though with more time on my hands am looking to do a lot more shorter term trades, so will have to have a play to see if they help me ;-)

Newdealz can I ask why you use both moving averages and MACD? MACD already has average lines in it?

Is it just to see the potential divergence a little earlier and more visible on the large chart and then confirm it on the other oscillators'?

HSBC been like that for a couple of weeks. If you ring them they use low volume as an excuse. Just one of several brokers which have it as sell only mode - though seems to be the only bank that I am aware of to have done so.

Personally think its partially fear of bad PR to been seen trading with the evil Russian companies - and possibly also trying to reduce pi investors until ii can get back in whilst it's still cheap

Poly is indeed very volatile. Absolutely charting does only ever show you the past. You can never predict when news will drop on any share. There is so much news/reports/rumours coming out which affect this share dramatically it does make charting it difficult.

However it is not hurting anybody and is far less offensive than many other things written on the board.

It always amazes me on BB ( not specifically this share same across all the shares ) that there are tons of off topic conversations. All kind of madcap theories and opposing views and arguments that can go unchecked for days.

Yet post a chart and that can get a more negative response than any other conversation - yet it is directly relevant to the share discussion and how people are estimating what will happen next. Even some of the most intelligent respected posters can rant against seeing a chart.

The thing I am taking away from the last 2 weeks SP movement - is that just how many people are watching this company from the sidelines. Just how many will jump in when the RNS on drill rig does land?

It could jump to 15-20p in a very very short timeframe. Assuming it's positive news of course ;-)
