George probably should have said 2-3 weeks, or this month I agree. Though he didn't want to say 'soon' after the criticism the other CEO got, so think he tried to come up with a more accurate timeframe.

Even so what about 16/17 days? I'd still consider that to be '2 weeks'. There would be no RNS at the weekend so hence an RNS early next week is also fine with me.

My mate wants to meet me in the pub about 7pm. I won't smack him in the chops if he turns up at 5 passed!

a handful of people are taking that way too literally and no doubt there will be people complaining tomorrow that the news did not come on time.

Other CEO had been criticised in the interview for using looser terms ( as has he himself in the past when saying soon or imminent ) - so George gave a 2 weeks timescale.

I'm giving it more slack and not expecting it till towards end of next week, or even the week after. The 2 week accelerated drill programme area would take 2 weeks, they then need to get lab results and analyse them before then releasing the news on the new company strategy in detail

or turn on tv/radio news channel and listen to all the economic doom and gloom

realistic price for this is 24p-26p imho, overall upward trend since December.

Till this week that is, nothing has changed with the company that I can see, just the market. 1 week has wiped it 4 month of gains. I dare not say the drop looks overdone, as may not be with the current market!

First phase of company share buy back just been completed.
Interim 6 month results show highest ever production rates.
5 new exploration licenses granted in Sudan with first exploration starting in Q2 202

I am liking it here and hoping it's going to be as good as I think it will over the years!

and pretty much everything dropping recently is not helping me free up some funds!

I must say I'm not invested here yet, have been looking into it recently and decided it will be my next investment shortly. I am invested in PAF last 12 months or so.

I'm sure we could all do with more of these beauties in our portfolios lol

PAF is similar situation - a gold miner and is actually doing a share buyback on top.

but yeah not too many AIM penny stocks with 5% dividends
