looks like a slow upward trend since last July on a weekly chart to me.

a bit of a dip on recent daily chart is of no concern to a long term investor

what Atlas RNS are you waiting for?

20% rise on zero news is a little odd
no sudden massive appearance of rampers, so not likely to be pump from gangs of reddit kids etc
does feel a bit leaky

I be there are not too many people selling at this time as vast majority hold for gold

just be cautious of booking a day off work

yeah you can click on their name directly of course - but if you cant see a recent post from them, you can't click on it :-)

of course some posters are as negative as ever
when people are sitting on 70%-80%-90% + losses its hard to be positive even with the 'improvements'

I'm happy to see people trade and make profit - but hate the constant blinkered short term ramping - that could end up spiking some newbie investors.

The number of blind rampers far, far outweighs the number of the negative comments.
Its good to have some people trying to bring some balance to the board and to keep pointing out the imminent placing

I know I left out the month figure
was pointing out that all the other figures had been missed out, rampers trying to make everything looks rosy - but anybody who has been here for any length of time knows the score

and the 8% down today was live taken from my broker - not wrong - and has in fact now just gone to down 11.6% on the day, which will be due to the differences in spread no doubt

down 8% today
down 40% on the week
down 20% on 3 month
down 55% on 6 month
down 85% on the year

finally bought in my first £1k
not much really but it's a start to build from lol

hoping for some profits 'soon' from some other investments, will add more then

wish I'd had spare cash, an ISA, commission free trading, fast internet access for trading and bulletin boards when I was in my 20's!!

the two most important rules to me

1. never invest money that you can not afford to lose
2. be pragmatic - don't get too emotional about any losses, move on with time you will make it back, you only need get it right 51% of the time to win overall

following rule 1 religiously, makes rule 2 much easier ;-)

only time I sold was a bed and ISA move.

I just know with my luck if I tried to trade it, the big RNS would come during the period I was out lol.

I understand if somebody has never had an ISA that they do not know the details.
But I would have thought that if somebody already has one that they would know what the limit is?

No offence may be a bad assumption on my part.
Over the past few years with such low interest rates, cash ISA have been pretty pointless IMHO

you have an ISA but do not know what the allowance is?
