I'd never laugh at a small investment, we all have different amounts of free cash.
Any amount is better to get invested rather than sat in bank at zero interest!

That's the thing I love about the rise of commission free trading platforms( despite of some of their annoyances ), it finally allows people on the lower end of the pay scale access to investing. I personally would never have started regular investing without T212!

With careful, sensible management ( and a bit of luck ) you could be making a million in future if you continually re-invest over 10/20 years

which freebie trading app are you referring too? Most of them will not let you buy Poly. I'm sure there would be lot of people interested to know which one is trading Poly

longest trade on T212 for me was 6 days!!!
sat waiting to buy into BOIL ( pie in the sky punt under 2k invested )

- reasonably flat day so doing bed and isa, sold 500,000 will buy buying back 1,500,000
never instant on T212 can take hours, so need try and time it when it's less volatile lol

yeah it aint accurate, more of a guideline of buys and sells really
my sell of 500,000 shares shows as a buy

I'm happy with small steady rises lower than 4%
it keeps us of the biggest winners charts - any appearance on there is usually followed by influx of ********s and derampers

yeah bad filter, easy to get around of you want - but filters out inoffensive real words / countries.

24p is as hard to break as 23p. It unexpectedly pushed right through it, but it's dark and lonely up there it scared itself so quickly ran back home. Though it's ran a little too far as it was scared, when the heart rate settles it will walk of shame back home, guessing an approx 23.6p finish. Then a nice few days rest over the extended weekend ready to go again.

Hoping it will be a little braver next week and guessing a week end approx 25.5p

I don't expect any big moment unless we get an unexpected intraday RNS - certainly don't think it will drop back to 0.0295 no offence roman
based on last 6 days I'm going for all the 3's 0.333

I believed it would bounce back and posted as such during the initial panic in the hopes that someone would believe me and not panic sell. However I did not sell and buy back for 2 reasons.

1. I didn't think it worth the risk of not being able to buy back in on a fast uptick
2. both my broker and my bank have put it in sell only mode so I couldn't even if I wanted too.

I was in at 0.05 too - but only about 200 quid....ah hindsight my old nemesis.

got £10k more later and am 30% up - however I grudgingly sold 2/3 ( decided the opportunity at Poly was too good to miss and had no other way of doing it )

I will be buying more in Prem as funds allow - but it kinda feels like the clock is ticking against me lol

First time I have encountered a postponed final dividend, so wondering from more experienced guys what they way forward is?
Interim dividends are directors decisions but Final dividends are put to share holders at AGM. I have seen some company AGM's were postponed before due to covid and the dividend decision still conducted at AGM at later date.

No mention of Poly AGM being postponed - so how can the share holders vote on it at a later date??

Or rather is it more accurate to say that the final dividend is indeed cancelled - but at a later date in August when they do the interim dividend - they may at that point attach the funds from this final dividend in with the interim or do a one off special dividend payment?

I understand they didn't want to say it was cancelled - but how can the shareholders vote on it outside of an AGM?

Just trying to wrap my head around it! I will be holding this for years and I was expecting it to be cancelled anyway so still having hope of it later on is a potential bonus ;-)

I have no problem if somebody gets bashed for the 'content' of their post, people have differing opinions and of course some are just ridiculous.

However I don't like seeing peoples intelligence being questioned just down to their spelling or grammar, that is all.

Intellect is not related to spelling or grammar. What if English is not the first language? What if they have medical conditions? What if they just have fat fingers and texting on a phone? Maybe they employ a PA for a reason?
