Liquidity matters a lot on T212, things in FTSE 250 generally trade instantly, lower liquidity AIM shares can sit there for hours

fast day trading would be impossible really if its not in the FTSE 250, probably goes long way into me leaning towards looking at recovery plays, spuds and swing trades, rather than being able to take advantage any rns led rapid movers

I kinda work around it's limitations 95% of my trades I put in as limit trades to ensure I get the price I want - or better it does sometimes give me better than what I asked for.

In a way I think it has helped me be more disciplined as after I have bought a share I generally set it straight back to a limit sell with a price % rise that I am looking for. That also stemmed from when I was working 12 shifts and could not do any trading during work hours so had to pre-set prices/trades

Had a glance through my recent trade history to get the vast little swing trades, all bought at 0.65 and sold at 0.70

I was going to stop mentioning the little vast trades, in case it was getting boring lol

but will keep it up if your interested in seeing how often it can occur in reality.

0.65 to 0.7 will give you approx 7.5% I believe, which is not bad if it carries on

Spread was under 1.5% earlier

SP seemed to be getting more lively 2pm onwards

No idea when it got the listing

tickling it's highest price since last July now

Spread also tight, usually a good sign

guys with access to lvl 2 indicating that 1 large buy of 450k has gone through and that there are another 2 being processed 500k each so potentially price being kept down to fill these and it may pop afterwards

I've just reinvested £2k of that money into BRES

the other £4k I will be adding to my I3E pool later in the week - after the dividend gets paid so I can reinvest that money at the same time - the intention was poly dividend so makes sense to me to put it into another divi payer

Depends on your broker. Neither my bank nor broker allow buying poly been that way over 12 month

but after 17 july it will no longer be listed on lse

there may be ways through it, technically I think shares in kazahkstan AIX exchange can still be held within an ISA but after months of uncertainty and volatility, I've kinda lost my appetite for it and decided to bail whist I was still in profit

I bought them after the war crash so I'm still good profit wise to be honest

I bought them at £1.40

sold half around £2.90 and left the rest as a free ride

sold them today at £2.06

so no losses, no complaints just a shame my plan of holding for years did not pan out

Despite saying I was not going to sell my POLY shares anytime soon on the poly board - I have thought on it further and decided that I will. Just too much confusion for me on how to proceed. Almost certainly no way to keep them within my ISA , so it would result in money going out of the ISA. Setting up an account with a Kazahkstan friendly broker etc etc.

I was hoping to hold these for years to come for the recovery and the approx 40% dividend I would be getting - but it all just looks far too complicated for my tastes!

So it is with some regret - that I am out

Because UK are farcical and way behind the times, too much government red tape - just look at britvolt - which should now be renamed aussievolt

though the BOD are to blame too they should have proceeded with the IPO and not kept it with private fat cats, it would have been easier to raise funds whilst waiting on the delayed money from government

and look at ARM a british crown jewel - yet will be listed in US not in london

I do of course secretly hope for more, it's always nice to dream of unicorns 🦄

That I3E SP gives you a dividend yield of 11% not shabby

people often forget to look at the actual market cap and not the SP

I hope it does get towards 10p but that would likely be taking 2-3 years to get near imho with additional exploration and mines producing

I would be happy with 2-3p by year end

Yeah banking your profit is always good.

I am leaving it in here in this instance because of the potential rerate if they finally get the diamonds and at the moment this trade window is occurring quite regularly - of course that could change
