more by accident than judgement I had two 40% spike trades on the rumours on matd - but my intended trade buying in for the LP - ended with 50% loss

I had two 20%ish trades on ALL on the rumours - but the actual intended trade for the ML cost me 15%

after being underwater since the last HE1 drill, I finally managed to average down and then break even in the run up rumours - but then it went pete tong on my new buy ins for the spud!

Whole of aim is kinda like that nowadays

don't think it will change till market sentiment/cost of living etc returns somewhat

I think I have not responded quick enough to these changes and therefore not profited as well

we saw 88e did not respond as we expected on spud, HE1 also did not and I even remember saying that we may have already seen the top when it was near 10p - as my eyes were slowly opening up lol

matd didn't get the rise on LP news - turned out to be waste anyway as still messing about with 'local' permissions - but did not know that at the time - the better rise came in the weeks before on the rumour rises

and again how crazy does ALL feel? it has the long awaited mining licence now but what happened to the SP

seems like you need to be in early - and sell up on rumour spikes, or fast along with the sell on news brigade.

holding on after news no longer seems prudent, however good it initially sounds!

UPL had some leftfield news and a great rise - but even that potentially game changing news has not held and it would not surprise me to fall all the way back to 3p on the coming weeks, if that had happened 12-18 month ago I think it would be a sustained rise over several sessions

hence why I took the opportunity to sell up on HE1 today as can't help but feel this will also pullback on TD RNS - and it will be 2 weeks after that before we get result anyway - but just can't help myself I still had to leave a bit of skin in the game

It went to 6p and I ummed and ahhhed a lot then it dipped back before I made my mind up

I put a minimum limit sell on thinking it may get back up there later in the afternoon

but the sudden move up did seem to come out of nowhere as I thought it was still going to dip and I was not actually watching it at the moment the sale went through

I put the order in place at 13.50

on 5 min chart there was a 20 minute flat section before the spike14.15-14.35 was it in auction or order filling? that was a pretty flat moment compared to the rest of the day

small part sold at 14.40 though vast majority went through 14.44

So overall I went from about £10k down to £1.2k invested over the last 2 week

and has cost me around £2.5k

some bad decisions made but couldn't risk further losses there, really had been hoping for better rises into spud, messed it right up

but at least I'm clear now and have some invested back into kod which I wanted and some dry powder for trading ops

Yeah I set a limit price of 5.8

it let 3,488.3 shares go at 5.8p

the other 37,786.7 share went at 5.9p

should be showing on lse any second now as it was 14/15 min ago

Which means its ticking up of course now as I got fill price of 5.90

Rightly or wrongly I have wet the bed and derisked the rest of HE1

just left in a small 20,000 shares for the results

I cant risk more than that on a duster/breakage, too many losses recently need to protect myself a bit!

Just getting fed up of constant stream of negative posting from certain individuals. If I was as concerned as that, I would have sold up and moved on long ago. They bring nothing to the BB. That and the constant CAPITALS and 'quotes' for absolutely no reason triggered me this rainy cold morning. It's like the old RE/geography teachers that have leather pads on their jumpers elbows who use ✌fingers✌ on every other word in some deranged attempt at emphasising their point, just maddening.

And of course it suddenly starts spiking faster after I have sold, that is just how my trading life is recently!
