Can be annoying sometimes but yeah I can live with it. T212 is set up for novice investors who generally have a lot less cash than traditional traders, so I do appreciate that they are trying to protect people really. Only really happens on these normally low volume shares, which then have sudden unexpected large volumes of trading.

Yeah the pullback on UPL looks to have slowed ( though could continue tomorrow again I suspect it will pullback a bit more )

I looked to put a buy order in at 3.5p and would have had a nice cheeky little profit to sell

however my broker has very kindly put the share into sell only mode, not allowing any new buyers. Very kind of them to protect me from my own decisions regarding my own finances.

After 10 interest rate increases in a row, the ecb today kept them the same

with a lot of hopeful luck, maybe the beginning of the end of inflation worries

will it stabilise / bounce here

or will it push back down and through to 2.30

either way, worth watching as it could well be just worth a punt for any further rumours/news on the buyout

ignoring everything, all the noise sentiment and theories and looking purely from chart, it has risen from the low on 23rd, high looks to be yesterday - double top so now possibly a drop? hard to call until after the day is over of course but looking to be dipping today, I would normally suggest a drop over the next 2/3 days back to around 5p but rns close so who knows?

it could fall back faster tomorrow, longer we wait for rns the more twitchy people get, conversely it could climb with fomo. If no RNS in the morning I would say the company MUST put out a tweet to calm nerves for the weekend.

If there is no RNS and no tweet by around 11am, I'd be getting more nervous

I still think it is mostly the mm playing with the spreads to give impressions of movement. They seem to be sticking to 0.05 increments. bid of 0.3, ask 0.35 then it changes to ask of 0.4 but still keeping the bid at 0.3

why are they not doing smaller increments?

for what I deemed to be a good buy in price from the charts I put in a buy with a limit price of 0.33

of course T212 is crap with low volumes so that will be part of the reason

I have since made it back trading it as it was only around £1k thankfully. I pop on now and then and poke the rampers. Somebody who was going to buy in yesterday, actually thanked me for my advice lol, how often does that happen...

The SP moves 0.01p - which is basically the spread and they wet themselves with excited ramblings and already somebody this morning somebody is shouting not able to buy a 100 quids worth lol

though I now have a small holding on a free ride, amounts to just couple hundred quid. But I do keep an eye on it, if those diamonds do arrive it will be game on

or if they do manage to ramp up production in tajikistan or baita plai it could turnaround with those, regardless of the diamonds

Newmont - newcrest takeover finalisation is expected from 6th november so was thinking ggp would spike for that

I am guessing, that after it will dip back. I cant really see after taking over a company that they would very quickly then also buyout ggp. I imagine they would need couple months to settle in, check all the accounts, details of deals etc etc. and an offer for ggp may never come but if it does I'd expect that to be in the new year?

the actual havieron project DFS is not expected to be completed till sept 2024 so plenty of time to be watching that for rumour spikes along the way

Yeah seller pushing it down. lot of other graphite plays been up, but somebody selling in regular 100,000 chunks stopping this

It is still a little concerning that by all accounts it should have been TD last weekend and we still don't have any updates

Phoenix group could be one to consider as we come out of inflation/interest rates malarky

it is down around 30% since jan and is now below the pandemic lows

at the current SP you actually get a 12% dividend yield today

to my untrained eyes, nothing scary in the interim results

could be an alternative to a high street bank recovery play

if your looking for any potential long boring investments😂

That is the only way to play vast imho

unless things substantially change, it's a short term trade possibility, not a long term investment - but only use what you can afford to lose, your money could still get halved or lost completely by december!
