Its bouncing around 0.7 resistance - like it did with 0.6

0.8 next then 0.9 - after that if it does well enough to get there......well no resistance after that to hold it back!

I3e is a good one imho, one of the most stable aim stocks, currently on a low especially compared to it's peers. At current SP dividend yield is 9.8% with quarterly payment. So good growth potential with a yield. Personally think they should take it off aim and get it main market listed

If you are holding long - and stable(ish) stocks for the dividends/growth with ftse companies then yeah diversify with 12-20 companies, so you get a cross section of categories and spread the risk

for short term fast moving spikey aim companies, you do need a smaller number so you can concentrate on them better and get out quick if needed. Maybe he has sold all his big profit ones ( best thing to do on aim take you profit and run ) - only hold long, long, long if you are lucky enough to get on a free ride

I'm just more cautious of holding long now - I currently have 10 stocks which are all over 50% underwater

- 50/50 split between aim and US tech stocks

though from a long point of view I guess now is a better time to hold than when I bought pre covid/ukrane

in an ideal world, there will be a company that you already have some knowledge on, you know that it is on a low, you know there is news due and Tro is shouting its gone blue and someone is shouting RNS out.

market has been shocking for ages, especially aim, there is just no appetite for it, lots of traders, few holders. So even on great news SP fall back down

It shows he is honest at least. If he was showing you a portfolio just full of big winners I'd be very suspicious.

after all the previous issues, you could also just as likely say that he wants to triple check everything first before releasing a further update. He doesn't want to issue out info - and have it all go wrong again.

and god forbid - what if one of these other parties which have been mentioned in the past is now in contract discussions for the other 50% and he is wanting to keep quiet until everything agreed and we get a special winter bumper edition RNS?

the only thing which is known, is that some people will still be here spouting their BS whatever happens with the November shipment.

trade it to get on a free ride first - and then hold imho

if you want to buy and hold for a couple of years - you may be better off with ftse shares, there is a lot there beaten up too, plus you collect the dividends whilst your waiting

only ones I hold now are cos they are 50-60-even 95% down so no point selling plus a couple of free rides

slowly learning - the hard way
