Not sure how it will affect average order value, but at least costs of transport covered for smaller orders.

Recent order I placed showed around 16.3k in the last three weeks, so remaining steady , but not shooting up after their TV campaign.

It appears that when DD or now Foodcircle pump a popular product at a bargain price, I.e gin or Biltong, the response is overwhelming.

Considering Food Circle did 9k of orders in the quarter , last weekends 700 orders seem to have been more than they can currently cope with and has led to a backlog of deliveries.

I suppose long term , investors can take a lot of positives out of the situation.

All the time they continue to grow it’s a no brainer at this price.

Although saying that, it seems that there are not many punters left with cash to invest at the moment.

Considering that growth is continuing at such a good pace, and that they expect to come Into profitability in the very near future, the market response is extremely muted.

I reckon within around two weeks, they will RNS the new warehouse, the new Foodcircle website and accompany it all with yet another great trading update.

There is a large buy order out there as its easy to shift 500k shares at 2.9 pence.

The writing is on the wall for a rise in price in a fairly short time scale.

Since I have called it right on just about every occasion, I expect I'm not too far out with my predictions on this occasion.

Your order and my sisters order are almost an exact month apart and that calc pans out at around 60 k orders in a month which equates to £2.1 million a month or £ 3.3 mill per quarter at an order value of £35..

However you look at it, unless they make the order numbers up, all the signs are incredibly good.

It’s extremely useful as my sister also gave me her order number yesterday.

On those figures, I make the current run rate at just over 900 orders per day..

Ave order for last quarter was £35 , which at that rate suggests a current monthly turnover of £945 k or around £2.8 million per quarter for DD

If we look back on the results, they were doing the following.

Q4 2023 revenue increased by 37.3% to £1.8m versus £1.3m in Q3 2023.

So, on the face of it , they are doing an extra £1 million a quarter extra already, which suggests the growth in sales is phenomenal.

Bearing in mind that Foodcircle is currently struggling to keep up with customer demand, I suspect that their contribution will also be significant.

The stats are there to see and collaborate for anyone that can be bothered to put them together, and all the evidence points to the fact that they are absolutely flying .

Assuming they are maintaining their margins, then the current share price is ludicrous.

I would have a very large bet, that anyone buying in at the current price is going to be very glad they did.

Re the last comment about order values I was referring to DD.

They do have quite a good site and I have been tempted to buy a few products.

I got the info from the Facebook page and its great to see that they are very busy.

I would hazard a guess that with the addition of many higher value items, that the average order value has risen.

It appears that they have been over run with orders and new customers and I’ll hazard a guess that they are going to smash their targets for the year.

Would be grateful if anyone who shops with DD could supply some estimated recent order quantities .

Interesting to see some of their daily deals like craft gin sell out within the day.

I would imaging the new warehouse equipment has /will cost quite a lot.

The concept might be good, but a paltry turnover of £ 80 k per year will mean that considerable growth will be needed.

It would be nice to get some current figures on sales and cash remaining.
