Facts:
Pinnacle appear to be a org with lots of money, to set up a new company and have £3m sat about speaks volumes.
Multiple RNS that clearly state the point of the pinnacle deal is that pinnacle has clients and projects waiting that they need AMTE factory, staff, IP, and technical known how to fill.
The CEO of AMTE has been very happy with the deal, and made it clear that Pinnacle open a massive new world of opportunities.
Sodium batteries are where the industry is heading due to cost reductions compared to lithium to make a larger market place.
Additionally, sodium batteries are safer and more favourable to insurance etc...
AMTE is already set up with a factory and trained staff, they are basically 3 heads of the competition in the UK, so can dominate quick.
The whole world is moving fast to renewables with onsite storage, and the current high gas/oil is going to drive this faster.
That freaky Swedish girl and her blue hair mates want renewable, so the driving factor of sodium batteries is there to from an emerging consumer class.
(18-30 year olds).
Lots of governments are putting multi billion £ funding and grants in place that will subsidise the move to sodium batteries.
