"Further to its announcement on 19 December 2023 of its intention to appoint administrators and the suspension of trading of its shares on AIM (the "Previous Announcement"), AMTE Power Plc (AIM: AMTE), (the "Company") announces that the accelerated sale process, referred to in the Previous Announcement, has elicited interest in the business and assets of the Company.

Accordingly, the Board has today filed a second notice of intention to appoint an administrator with the Court, which the Court has sealed. Accordingly, the Company will be protected from creditor action for a further 10 business day period (until and including 19 January 2024) and intends to use such period to continue to explore the interest elicited by the accelerated sale process and conclude a transaction."

Well, it appears we do have action for the company to be taken private based on that RNS, a couple of weeks and we'll all get recouped and bought out.

Theres always deal to be done, and the great thing about AMTE is that with green investment tax deductions, buying and up AMTE and seeding a few million £ can be offset with this tax year to any gains the investor had. Sounds we could see this taken private within a couple of weeks.

If there was no meat on the bones then the carcass would have been thrown in the bin.

As it looks at the moment, this is still a great investment opportunity for a green fund, and still the possibility that Pinnacle will move forward with the placing.

The question becomes what happens if it is saved, I suspect rockets.

AMTE literally has a factory, is connected to the UK battery institute, and was in the process of setting up a new gigafactory and could with funding acquire the Britishvolt site.

Currently there are no mass production factories in the UK, hence why the big growth area is getting ones operating to roll out products.

Alot of industries and consumers are now starting to freak out about the cost of energy and how it's destroying wealth.

The economic reasoning for move to renewable with onsite batteries are becoming more apparent, especially for multi site companies and factories etc...

Very easy play here for green fund to acquire AMTE, use green tax support and grants to recoup investment and make a ton of profit within 2 years with mass roll out of batteries.

FRP should have someone lined up.

It's a low cost value play for a green fund, and with government grants and green tax discounts it actually is a great investment opportunity.

Paying ground floor prices for a business already built and ready for massive growth and market boom.

The UK government have that golden pot that comes into action in the 2025, and 2024 will be tender and grant applications for it, so getting AMTE would be wise in order to be in line for that payout.

The issue with oil/gas, is it's too reliant on foreign sources in broad terms, and those foreign sources are jacking up the prices or unstable supplies due to geopolitics. The ramifications of this is causing the general public to now feel the fallout, which politically is dangerous. Secondly to this there is just a general change in consumer habits to wanting green energy. This combination has opened a massive market opportunity for renewable energy, which needs low cost and safe onsite batteries, so now there is a very real mass market opportunity for a player in the sodium battery space. This is why Northvolt are going through a big growth period, as they can see the switch and so do VC.

What happened to AMTE and the pinnacle drama is a bump in the road, and if FRP are worth their salt this should be an easy play for them to get a green VC or fund to pay for a takeover and ramp up production.

TBH the costs in this business are the set up and IP. As all previous investment has been done to get them to production stage, it's now a matter of client onboarding and raw material purchase.

As such, this is actually a great investment play by a green fund, and once they tap into government grants and leverage tax refunds it would net out costs so achieving profit would be easier.

Considering the costs of oil/gas energy and new carbon regulations and taxes coming, now would be a perfect play to hard takeover the emerging battery market.

I'm sure that FPR (or whatever they are called) will be working hard through their black book to get a deal done to make some fast money. And we still have the potential for pinnacle to place the £2.5m.

So until we get final notice, this is still all in play.

Or think of the millions of homes that have no mortgage but are suffering from the increase of energy currently, when faced with long term uncertainty in this new age, the initial cost to install solar panel and onsite batteries are a great way to ensure cost reductions and peace of mind.

The truth is, if this company is saved then it will rocket, as its talent, IP, and potential market is massive.

I still believe in the tech and company, taking everything into account, it's the strongest play for a 20x return over a couple of years. Where this company has stalled is pipeline and client building, so I sincerely hope that lessons have been learned, and once the lights are back on, and the engine is churning that they built a market and client channel fast.
