Greatland Gold rallied with supportive gold prices and a quarterly update that suggested upside to

near term production. The December quarter production report showed strong milling and

recoveries in the Telfer asset, boding well for future cash generation. The strong cash generation

of the business leaves the business with $948m of net cash at the end of the year, reducing the

risk of share issuance as the company builds the Havieron project

Telfer had a two week shutdown for routine maintenance. After the maintenance had taken place the SAG milll had problems and the maintenance company were called back in to fix the issue. It is powered by a 3 phase motor and one of the stators was down to earth ( as in broken) Post that there was storms. Sandstorms traditionally are in the forefront of low pressure systems that are pressured by electric storms behind. The substation subsequently failed. Whether that was intake cooling as suggested I am uncertain. The backup systems were not man enough to keep the plant running. The Telfer village was supplied by back up generators. My best information is that the processing plant was down for at least 6 days. I shared this info with Bamps. I care not whether you believe it or not. Delete at will

The videos I’ve seen of Havieron recently are probably the same ones E1 and Bellers are referring to. What was the dirt floor decline entrance is now covered with concrete slabs and the walls are now underway with concrete reinforcement. Jetcrete are indeed on site too, so it may be reasonable to assume that some work on the tunnel is ongoing. I would think that Shaun is saving all of this for a juicy RNS as some point soon hopefully. Bamps shared some information with me last night which was really interesting should he care to share it.

Just a heads up. I have a friends & family account with II. It was £11.99 a month and now gone up to 14.99. She invested £40k into GGP and its value has now reached in excess of six figures. Today they charged both my and her accounts £14.99. (£180 year each) I asked why and they said there is a £100K limit on friends and family. Her account has been in access of this amount for 18 months or more but never been charged so we’re looking around for an alternative broker. If anyone can advise would be appreciated

Probably a coincidence BlackRock have lowered their stock holdings in Genesis Minerals, as has AustralianSuper Pty Ltd now holding 16.16% of Genesis Minerals stock. AustralianSuper Pty currently does not a position in Greatland. The last recorded figures Australian Super had A$385 billion in assets

Culpepper, your commentary is becoming very one-dimensional.

You repeatedly tell people to ignore both the rampers and the de-rampers — fair enough.

You also constantly say the only thing that matters is official company statements (RNS, presentations, etc.).

Yet when you actually look at the forward-looking statements from major producers like Newmont right down to our peers such as Genesis, virtually all of them clearly talk about **increasing** gold production.

At the last town hall, when SD was directly asked whether the company should hold back some of the gold it produces, his answer was blunt:

“Why would we? We’ve got far more still in the ground.”

Shaun has also said — multiple times — that the banks hoping to provide debt financing are likely to end up disappointed.

The pattern is consistent and comes straight from management.

Perhaps it’s time to actually read the RNSs and listen to what the company is telling us… instead of just listening to your own echo chamber.

@mal111 Greatland advertised the position. Interviewees were asked to submit a proposal to turn a junior to a mid tier. He had heard of Havieron and applied.

I have an email from Greatland pretty much stating this.

I recall SD saying he’d only pay a £1 for Telfer because it was approaching its end of life. More recently he has said he knew Telfer had a lot more to give and that he had approached both Sandeep and later Newmont about the acquisition.

He has also said that it is Antipa that are making the noise about being acquired and Greatland doesn’t need them. Antipa’s SP has virtually stood still in what is considered by many a bull market?

In October GGP appointed RBC Capital Markets. They just happen to be one of the largest companies that construct billion dollar mergers and acquisitions.

Antipa has a resource of 3.1 million Au ounces equivalent and a market cap of only $404 million and what’s more important a shed load of land surrounding Telfer.

£1 for Telfer ?

AustralianSuper Pty Ltd decreased its interest in Genesis Minerals to 184,584,263 (16.6%) shares yesterday from 198,033,263 (17.6%)

They do not currently hold any Greatland Resources shares.

@E1 We know that prior to admittance to the ASX VanEck held AIM listed shares. Do you know why or can explain to me why 1/ the VanEck holding is in the ASX rather than AIM?

2/ Why are the likes of Evolution, Pan American Silver, G mining, Perseus, what I consider mid tiers in this GDXJ listing?
