The answer was most Australian mines had water and 90 odd litres an hour can be comfortably dealt with. The chances are they will use the water for dust suppression.

Re SureasBlazes post regarding Kalgoorlie. I think some missed the point the lady was making. It is one of the most famous Archean Greenstone pits in the world. So big they built a town around it. When Newmont walked away from the Ernest Giles JV which is also greenstone it was Callum Baxter’s No1 target. It has had very little exploration or money spent on it. It is usually the forefront of SD exploration targets when questioned and for good reason. If they hit something big then building a mine would probably finance itself and better than NS buying Hemi for $5 billion. Hypothetical but a possibility.

Dibs, salt is a mineral. Tons of the stuff at Havieron hosted in sedimentary rock. Pyrites another virtually valueless mineral found in abundance. Nickel, Lead, Iron and Cobalt all typical in the Pilbara. Minerals are not confirmed as metals until assays have been analysed. Educate and engage brain before making a fool of yourself.

Casper I haven’t got anything against ramping on fundamentals or facts, but yours have got as much fibre/substance as Gypsy Rose Lea at the fairgrounds reading tea leaves. It’s obvious you know nothing about mining and little about exploration. Let the rocks do speak for themselves

Just to put things into perspective what’s made Havieron economically viable is the south east high grade crescent zone. (Though this needs to be confirmed in a DFS)

The top 300 metres has 8000 Au gpt per metre equivalent. The crackle and cemented breccia alone would be debatable economics at this depth but OK from surface open pit like Antipa’s Minyari.

So Wishbone really need to find a high grade zone imo. Hope they do.

@Warrie I was a Wishbone shareholder but got took to the cleaners with the rest. My beef with Wishbone and Pouldon in particular is I sent a dozen or more emails asking various questions. Response zero, nada, nothing. This is a lifestyle company. My money went to pay the boards wages and it won’t happen again. As Rick Rule says 1% of the 3000 junior explore co’s actually make it to miners or are bought out. This is not one them. It’s a penny dreadful. Google that with AI.
