RE: new revenue stream24 Mar 2019 16:11
Perhaps, as they saw the results of the gas mix, they have done the best thing for them also?
Perhaps the best thing was a partnership?
I said a while back it would not surprise me if we forged a closer tie up with them, again I did not expect quite this scenario.
As it is they can now grow the crops with the gas mix, gaining up to a 30% yield. The trial was 50 plants, tried against the entire control of the entire remaining crop. The average yield across those 50 plants was a ~30% increase. I guess that was just pure luck huh? Did you see the video? The plants were side by side control, gas mix, control, gas mix. It’s as conclusive a trial as you could hope for. It’s also a proven scientific process.
The staff / owners from District 8 now have a chunk of HNR. They didn’t get a bucket of cash...They will only benefit if HNR and they succeed. They can gain the benefits of both their own growing operation, and gain from future gas sales, ED revenue, Helios, DTU any of it.
The hemp operation can provide revenues for HNR, and can feed into HNR’s other projects, so those revenues can then grow and expand a business they now have a stake in.
Win-win situation for them.
The losers, anyone holding shares *now who needs to sell them, now*
The SP had fallen to 11p and we needed a revenue stream, and a decent additional one, to come online before the year ends, to set us up and keep us funded and able to expand next year.
ED would have kept the lights on for 2019, despite D14’s ramblings.
I get the PB placing is a swift kick in the nuts, but the positive aspect is, usually the pain goes away.
I can understand the negativity and the pain, but the SP was not going to magically lift off without:
More wells in ED - although revenues would come later and possible delays as we have seen.
Gas sales / revenues from Kansas
WD being monetized - clearly taking time.
DTU - not going to move on until more $ available / we can transport gas (although we will have a truck now..)
Helios - a long term play, even if can dewater for free.
So this can deliver revenues, in 2019 and beyond, year on year, and maybe that’s the motivation for the D8 owners team?
You seem as positive this venture will fail as you were earlier in your assumption Robert invented DTU, but I’m simply suggesting it’s possible this is a good deal for D8 staff, HNR and *ultimately* the existing shareholders if this is the easiest and quickest path to profitability and expanding revenues, even if the SP now smarts a bit.
