wonder if the main council can overturn the planning committee decision? Anyone fot knowledge of these procedures?

Having been a long term holder over many years I am relieved that the decision will now be placed out of the ludicrous SCC amateurs who could not heed their own council legal team or the twice given decision of the planning officers together with government agencies. I don't know how long the appeal procedure will take but Surrey's ratepayers are in for a severe shock IMHO. The gas is needed until a replacement (green) can be found and up and running some years hence to produce Hydrogen as well as usual heating and domestic and industrial use. The day traders have had their fun and we can now proceed with other parts of the company's future plans. SS could do no more than state the case. Obviously listening to the weak nonsense from the councillors they (with forthcoming elections in mind) had made their minds up regardless of advice. I am happy to hold for the future. GLA

Not entirely unexpected but is future money in the bank on appeal damages IMHO. More tankers please GLA

I am used to waiting and am quite prepared to continue. I suspect the final outcome will be with it being called in by the minister responsible which would let SCC off the hook. Tankers appear to be leaving regularly at about £5000 a time with little obvious outlay at the moment so cash possibly accruing for the Turkey venture. GLA.

Excellent they should be interested in the future. The earlier they get into the understanding of planning procedure and the correct running of council meetings the better. Its their future, GLA
