The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
It does say they will present to potential partners.
This is the news we need. It's another big step but it's not going to get the investors in.
Nigel must realize this. The next raise won't be funded by us it will be by these partners. Nigel already mentioned this.
The clock is ticking and it a very depressing to look at the price after the recent run. Were back where we started from.
Patents in all these countries don't mean a lot until we have something commercially viable.
Why would they need to raise? It was already confirmed in the investor's call that they would not need to.
They would look at other avenues.
Also, the last placement has not even been finished being sold in the market. Hence the large trades.
But a lot of people who invest don't even listen to the presentations.
Yes but as I said last week some of the placement of 35 million shares at 1p would be sold in market. Price has not been above 1p since it was announced. But I agree people have sold at a profit. But I feel were move up to the next level shortly.
Things are coming together here and the dots are being joined. One of the issues being discussed is funding. N4 has already stated that Nanogenics could be funded by third parties. To this end, it is interesting that Dr Simon Newman the Chief Scientific Officer of Nanogenics will take up the same role at the Brain Tumour Charity next month whilst continuing that role at Nanogenics. Interesting because the Brain Tumour Charity is both heavily involved in tumour research itself but more importantly is a major financier of tumour research both directly and through third parties. To have the Nanogenics CSO acting in the interests of Nanogenics/Nuvec could be very advantageous.
I think looking at the size and number of delayed trades over the last few days it looks like the recent placement of 35 million shares is being cleared. The good news is they are being bought up and the price is still above 1p.
I may be wrong but once this is clear and news comes this really will move.
Just my thoughts.
Sorry, but a couple of pump-and-dump merchants won't affect the price. This is moving as it's cheap, good RNS and this is hopefully the start of the rerate. Also, N4P will be attracting the attention of some big players who will gobble us up.
