Sorrry but Saga moved away from the trade. We switch sell Saga cruises and land tours to other companies.
Saga now have to do all the admin work that the agents did. You cant get them on the phone. Tickets come out so late it gets the clients stressed. Cars confirmed last minute to the ports. Feel thankful sometimes we only have a few bookings left with them to deal with. It used to be a quality product. Also dont get me on screening for insurance. Yes its a great idea but not when it takes around a month to get it sorted.
Well the debt against earnings is not looking good.
Good news is that people will be paying cash rather than with credits for holidays soon.
What would be the share price today before the consoldation last year. A few pence.
Probably get rid of all those ridculous vouchers, offer the wine at a competitive price for all.
I have used them for many years and love the wine. But maybe like gin clubs it is one of the first things people cancel.
This war is certainly causing so much misery to everyone. The knock out effects is becoming horrendous.
People cant afford to go to the cinema at the moment.
Really looking forward to the winter.
Cinema prices need to come down. Freinds went the other night and the cinema was 80% empty. Price of ticket £15.
live price is 4.2
Live price is 3.64 but nobody wants the stock
Did I just see the price drop to 3.64 or is that wrong
I dont think the cinema is dead but the issue is the quality of films being made.
Nobody wants to go and watch a rubbish film no matter how good the cinema is.
I suppose I go once every couple of months but lately apart from the bond film and the new maverick film I dont have any interest. Cinema just needs to get bums on seats all year not just when a block buster movie comes out.
But another point is that a lot of people cant fit in the seats as their so over weight.
What will really have an impact is when testing is stopped. It will be in soon.
Just come back from a cruise and was tested before boarding.
The biggest issue was compulsory wearing of masks with air portugal and on the coaches but nothing in France. Spain wanted masks on coaches and around the cruise terminal.
Heathrow was a shambles with coaches etc on another level.
Travel is still hard work.
They dont have the staff to increase capacity. It takes time to train them. You also still have qauarentine cabins onboard which get used a fair bit but never disclosoe numbers. Until we get rid of testing for Covid it is always going to be a hurdle.
