Business as usual, what’s the reason for the 50% drop?
Skins up again, only a matter of time before the same happens here. Main buzz over there is MWG
Never seen so much obsession and whining over losing 3.5k of a 5k stake. There’s been plenty of opportunity to make that back. Change of mindset needed, stop wallowing in self pity
G4S Hiring 15,000 Employees in Response to COVID-19

In November last year Cambria Automobiles chief executive, Mark Lavery, shared his high hopes for Aston Martin’s debut SUV – the St Athan-built DBX – in an interview with AM.
The long-awaited unveiling of the 550PS DBX took place in Beijing, China, on November 20 with the claim that it would “propel the brand to new heights worldwide” and Lavery said that the new model would deliver on Aston Martin’s aim to sell 4,000-per-year globally.
Cambria moved into a new Aston Martin dealership in Hatfield last year and has plans to develop another new facility in Brentwood next year, with the arrival of the £158,000 model central to the plans.
Lavery said: “It will do for the brand what the Urus has done for Lamborghini.
“The Urus doubled Lamborghini sales globally and the DBX will double our sales for Aston Martin. I have no doubt.”
Wasn’t long ago HSBC gave the company’s stock a ‘Buy’ rating at 480p The firm has said 2020’s Bond movie, No Time to Die, should give sales a lift in the key market of China.
The Bond movie release will feature four Aston Martins – the DB5, the V8 Saloon, the new DBS Superleggera and the Valhalla.
Aston Martin is now pinning its hopes on its first SUV model, the DBX, as part of a plan to launch seven cars in just seven years.
I expect there will be much M&A in the car industry over the coming years. AM with an F1 team is going to look very attractive.
Ford, BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin and Daimler AG all will need to make moves like VW group did with the luxury brands Bentley, Lamborghini, and Bugatti in the late 1990s and with Porsche and Ducati in 2012.
Had a very informative response from GB on the SKIN board on ADVFN so I thought I would share below.
@Lukehold the science of wastewater based epidemiology has been around for decades. Most wastewater treatment plants test the effluent (outflow) and many in the developed world are looking to find easy solutions to test in the influent (inflow). Many law-enforcing agencies in US and EU have used this to identify illicit drug use from traces found in wastewater.
In the case of SARS-CoV-2 this is becoming more important as a means of tracking likely hotspots. The problem with all testing is that it requires going back to the laboratory with samples. So time is critical.
Modern Water (MWG) have thousands of Microtox installations around the world and it has been the gold standard test for over 30 years to test for water contamination. MWG could detect 2,700 contaminants, but not identify each one in real-time. Integumen seen a reduction from 24-72 hours to 4 seconds for E. Coli bacteria, so is working to install our AI system in Microtox units to identify in real-time. We expect to roll these out this year. We expect investors to realise the potential of this in due course
Well done GB, a lot of interest in this sector now. Biobot analytics raised 6.7 million usd in funding to begin looking into what Modern Water has been already doing for years.

Good write up and a mention of Gfinity. I don’t think the share price has fully responded to reach of this news. Just a quick look at one form of social media.

I would agree with that comment. Very disappointing day, week and q1 here.
Also has everyone forgotten Codemasters have previously done brand skins in a game?.” Unless JD is still under NDAs I think we would have heard if Bidstack were involved in this one

Gfinity Virtual F1 championship ranks as one of the most popular esports tournaments in March. Viewing figures up 20 percent on the last race.
Two races in accounts for 1 161 817 hours of viewing across YouTube, twitch and facebook.

The English-speaking viewers were attracted to an unusual competition. This time one of the most popular competitions of this particular community was the virtual F1 championship – which was watched by 395 thousand peak viewers. The COVID-19-related situation has also affected the VirtualGP series, allowing it to attract quite a large number of new viewers. Previously, the racing simulators were unable to gather this much audience – but the stellar roster combined with the lack of real-life racing became the key to setting a record for the discipline.
