Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
Just listened the post RNS interview on Directors talk and his description of the plans for the placing proceeds, and the clear next four milestones in the company’s development seemed sensible and reasonable to me. I’m not a medical research scientist but I did not see anything tha5 would support some of the concern I’ve read about on this board. Has the placing lost me money or value short term…..yes thousands of £. But I’m still backing the mission. Hope others will too.
I’m glad the raise was a notional value higher than current SP having been savaged by placing sand discounted issues elsewhere. This is mandatory RNS on something already announced so no excitement for sure. Invested companies trundling along ok, need something transformative though and/or action on the CDT news or at least it’s SP jumping somewhat.
I’m thinking I could retire on my various shares round about age 112 at the current rate.
Always try to be optimistic, but if this drops to 0.013 it is one of three things: 1) shocking 2) shockingly undervalued. 3) a great time to buy or if a holder average down.
Answers on a postcard. ISA time if anyone feels lucky.
It’s all quiet on chat and trading right now. The half decent news is that CDT opened and closed today at near identical prices and the volume was a click above the moving average. So reasonable level of intrinsic interest and a break even price for Vela stabilised. A little so,I’d news there would likely improve our lot here. The other investee businesses seem never to affect our price irrespective. GLA
Someone is taking their daily exercise in the form of a series of c£2.5k buys, exciting the price up a few Bob and then reducing in 2.5k chunks to make marginal profits to buy the weekend meal out. Nice to see the price rise but I’d prefer something sustainable and transformational.
News of medical and commercial progress would be more welcome.
Agree OAK. Sideshow possibly but there are interesting things taking place in both businesses and the Cambridge labs and Leeds Uni PhD Dr Holland are beginning to focus attention on the UK as a development hub for pharma. The recent significant buying and selling here will have grabbed attention to. No clue on timing but things feel a little more positive.
Jace, with the greatest respect. I’ve been reading LSE for n years but only posted recently. My holdings in Vela and Ciz are large are quite long standing. The CDT piece is certainly a sideline for Ciz but on Vela it is the delta between me working for n years more or retiring v quickly. So forgive my excitement when it finally shows sign of life after a dull few months.
Best of luck.
Just for clarity that is not me. Far from it. I happen to be invested in a couple of shares that person is also in, hardly an earth shattering coincidence. Given the various connections between the shares. If you read my posts on Vela you’ll actually see I threatened to report that poster. So, as they say in legal profession’ cease and desist’ with your incorrect association.
Ciz and Vela have a sizeable overlap amongst their PIs.
Best wishes
