Illbe this one is for you mate
Jupiter asset management recently bought 5.04%
Schroder investment management & the vanguard group both increased their stakes to 2.29% and 1.97% respectively.
Could you share your views on what’s the rationale behind their decision?
I was being sarcastic, someone bought £2.81 worth of shares lol

Some big money is to be made!!!
@JGC
Don’t fall for that line that they always use in their RNS
Thomas Cook Group plc. is one of the world's leading leisure travel groups, with sales of £9.6 billion in the year ended 30 September 2018. It is supported by 21,000 employees and has 200 own-brand hotels. It operates from 16 source markets and serves over 22 million customers annually. Thomas Cook Group plc's shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange (TCG).
What they are failing to mention is that they are making huge loses YOY.
IMO if the deal is secured, senior management has to go as they lack innovation and prospect they brought the company to the ground and all what they could come up with is excuse after excuse “Brexit, heatwave, aliens... and the list goes on”.
The question most investors must ask, did the bod try and secure alternative source of funds or even why they didn’t propose a rights issue when the SP was trading at 130p to bring the debt down
If I’m gonna ask BoJo then admin it is lol
*wrong
@illbe i may be in the wring but lenders and bondholers are writing off circa £1.7b and injecting another £450m, i see no reason why the pension scheme is not willing to compromise
If a deal is not reached then admin will be on its way, with such stance the pension trust will be among the biggest losers IMO. No deal simply means no future value for TCG
I had to admit I initially didn’t read it the same way you did, thanks for the clarification.
I have one question for you if and that is a big Deb managed to become profitable and decides to relist again will we as ex-sh get anything at all?
Thanks devon your input is always valuable. Deb latest action is simply giving hints to the court that they did something dodgy through the pre-pack process. Correct me if I’m wrong always happy to hear your view
@illbe what I’m failing to understand regarding the recap is the form of the dilution.
Will it be in the form of new shares issue or just like Hornby PLC?
As expected another school leaver who acts all knowledgeable after the **** hits the fan and not before. Having a constructive argument with the likes of you is a waste of time
“I only joined a month ago you numpty! Such arrogance and ill judged comments with little research”
This proves my point, you’ve decided to join after the shot hit the fan and now acting as a knowledgeable person.
You wanna talk arrogance. This is one line from my CV walk me through the technicalities.... I’m all ears
Trade FX (Spot, Forward Outrights & Swaps) & Money Market instruments, as well as Fixed Income and Repos (sovereigns, corporates, & financial institutions’ securities) and Derivative Products (Covered Interest Arbitrage, Interest Rate Swaps & Cross Currency Swaps) to hedge as well as generate profits within the defined parameters.
You’re still failing to provide a single post about your views when this SP was trading above £1.
@Plaintruth53 get me one single post where I’ve said this share will be trading at any price above or below its current level on any given day.
No one is stripping you from having a view, you want to talk **** and when someone replies you brand them arrogant. As far as I’m concerned I haven’t seen a single post from you last year suggesting that the SP will be trading at its current level which tells me one thing you’re full of ****
@illbe I’m not holding any shares, I’m in fact waiting for the dilution to take effect so i can buy some but from what you’ve mentioned i may not be able to get any
@Plaintruth53 you wanna talk knowledge get me one single post from you suggesting that the SP will be trading at 5p or 6p when the SP was in fact trading above £1.
Oh I forgot you’ve joined after the **** hit the fan and now acting like a knowledgeable person.
@Plaintruth53 not in the mood to argue but when you have circa 4800% spike in traded volume even my 3 years old son will be certain an RNS will follow
@Illbe do you reckon after the dilution takes effect will we be able to access the share and buy it on the cheap or it will directly go lenders and Fosun who could possibly just hold them
Is it really hard to suggest/predict there will be an RNS when the daily traded volume goes from 61.67K to 3M in one day!!
Back to TCG does anyone have news re yesterday’s unexplained spike?
