I am not over concerned with the silence. JD took an absolute hammering last year for over communication and I quite frankly dont blame him. If I were him I would be keeping as quiet as possible and just gettting on with the job in hand.
If revenues were likely to be hugely out of kilter with expectation, either way, then there would be the requiremnt to advise the market. This would not seem to be the case. The SP naturally slips with no news, shareholders get bored of waiting and start to sell, that encourages others to do the same as they see the SP coming down...it really means nothing. I think the key is not to panic, you might end up regretting it.

Good post R11111, and agree with both points, running a targeted campaign for the main stadium sponsor could work very well, and no doubt there will be some potential for other non competing advertsing, I can see that.

TakeAim, to suggest I’m crazy may be a bit strong, I think my point is valid. Getting adverts into FIFA and F1 where the sponsorship deals are already established will be a lot more complicated than Hyperscape for instance. I would have thought that was blatantly obvious rather than crazy.
Overhyping, suggesting we will appear in this game or that game with no substance to it is exactly the reason the SP came down so much last year. Wild speculation is really not needed here.

We are not in FIFA and we will not be in F1. The advertising is so inherent within the sport it simply wouldn’t work. You could not have any sponsor on an Arsenal shirt other than Emirates and you could not have any other airline advertising at the Emirates stadium. FIFA do a deal with the clubs and the clubs will derive much bigger sponsorship deals as a consequence of their involvement in FIFA. But BIDs model would not work in this environment.
Nevertheless there is more than enough opportunity and potential elsewhere.

If we can get to 8p without news I will be happy. When news then falls I would fully expect to see it jump to 12p...from there who knows...absolutely anything is possible!

Nickel, when you say BIDs doesn't make any money I assume you mean profit, as clearly it does make some money.
Now I know you think you are some genius, but between you and me, everyone here knows BIDs hasn't made a profit, I'll give you a tip, its in the financials, the income and outgoings are shown for all to see! (Maybe no Einstein after all)
Now what I think you mean is will BIDs make money (or profit) moving forwards? Well guess what nobody really knows, but what we can be clear on is that revenue will grow...they will make more income H2 than H1. If you keep up with what's going on you will see they have formed some strategic partnerships with software producers that also believe they will make money. Since H1 they have a deal to provide ads in Hyperspace, Real cricket to mention just two. Now if advertisers place ads in these games then presumably they will make more money moving forwards. If they can continue to build on that, more inventory, more advertisers you will see more income, and more income will no doubt reduce any losses and move towards a position of profit. It really isn't that hard to follow...you've stated the obvious as show in the updates, but you don't seem to be able to do any joined up thinking as to where this is going. It does take a bit of forward thinking, where we are going rather than where we have been. Try and think really hard about it, I know it might hurt, but it will be worth it in the end.

With what we already know is going on I would fully expect income to exceed target on H2.

What we need now is an RNS saying revenues will be higher than previously forecast and this will be in the mid 20s, in my opinion.

Well said drinky, that's exactly what I thought when I read Ricki's comment, but I couldn't be bothered to respond.
He is clearly struggling to keeping up with things...

I must admit I am struggling with this board and some of the ridiculous comments on here...

I think we can all agree that the latest RNS can only been seen as potentially very good news. Ubisoft is a big games publisher, with titles like Assassins Creed and Watch Dog Legions. Hyper Scape is I believe their first 'free to play' game, and I get the impression that this was designed with advertising content revenue in mind, almost as a test game. If this works well and drives good revenues then this really could open the door to other new opportunities.
So we have landed a new game AAA publisher, besides Codemasters and FM. Without doubt this will lead to increased revenues moving forwards, that goes without saying. I must admit I would have expected the SP to have gone higher, inevitably as the increased revenues are seen it will. 6p really does look a bargain taking into account how far we have come in the last 12 months and the sheer potential of this.

I hope you are right tones, but if you promise children sweets and don't give them, then you will have very upset children. And judging by the recent squabbles on this board their are plenty of children waiting for their sweets!

You might be right about lack of news Roley, but this angst is caused by JD. Early this year he indicated that news would follow regarding high profile games.
In February's update he claimed Bidstack were dealing with some of the largest game publishers in the world to make more inventory. We would be updated as soon as they had news. Well almost 8 months later and what has happened.
JD is guilty of feeding us carrots, whether he is leading us up the garden path or not I really do not know.
This is why we are frustrated at no news. Things have been intimated all along, but with no substance backing them up.

The last time we had any news from Bids, other than results, was back in June...since then absolutely nothing! Very frustrating, we have no idea what they are really up to.

Without wanting to appear negative, there are plenty on here fulfilling that role, can we assume the H1 results included any income derived from Pubguard activities as well as Bids?
The article suggest the acquisition of PG bought ‘great value to Bidstack’. Not sure how this is quantified. The article suggest PG will available beyond just Bids in house use. Is this correct and could PG contribute to Bids income?

When it was 4p Helx was saying 2p, so I suppose he has increased his forecast by 100%. When it is 16p he’ll be saying 8p, guaranteed! And when it’s 50p he will have cleared off completely, never to be heard of again. It’s actually really quite amusing, means absolutely nothing...but very funny.

Based on ‘pop up’ adverts I would assume not.

Bids are dedicated to native in game adverts, this does not look like them, I would be surprised/disappointed if it was quite honestly.
