the first transaction involves the transfer of the GE "asset" into the company in exchange for shares. (same day service)
the second transaction involves the sale of "shares" from Suncor to Enquest. (same day service)

The two transactions involve separate assets, not the same asset.. Anyway there is nothing from the reply we saw from Enq IR on 28th Sep to indicate an additional 30 day period is required, otherwise they would have known about it on the 2 Sep Half year results info and indicated completion in Nov..

Think this will get wrapped up in first half of October.. 007 Oct.

Bloomberg confirmed what you said last night Pelle. They showed a graph highlighting perhaps 60% of China will be affected by electricity cuts. There was another graph showing how much power China needed compared to last year, and they simply don't have enough. The next 12 mths requirements are massive. A supplier of mine is paying $19,000 per container now as opposed to $2,400 pre Covid. I see more inflation and high demand for oil for some time.

North Sea (Golden Eagle) Resources Ltd , no changes yet at Companies house. This was supposed to be company holding the Suncor equity interest in Golden Eagle.

I don't think we will complete tomorrow. Originally in Feb they said no later than end of Q3, but it must be very close.
