Satellite imagery confirms there is something 100 to 150 miles out.. it isn't a train or plane or big tit.. MI5 said it's most likely a Golden Eagle.. Bond has been dispatched.. General release 30th Sep.

I don't think Brent $80 is expensive.. the other day I filled up an empty 10L Adblue container for my neighbour with premium diesel.. cost me say £15/£18 depending on how close to the brim I got. You don't really get a lot.. but you can do a lot of miles with it.. or run a digger for a long time.. 5 of these and I can go from London to Manchester and back and still have some left. It's very good value..

Personally I think all the other costs around motoring are expensive (cars, servicing, loan finance).. same for most goods in the shops.. the cost of fuel isn't the issue.. why should it be kept artificially low to subsidize the rest.

Seems like those oil companies with a reasonable amount of shorts are performing the best . Closing them seems a priority, I don’t think we have that many , if any , so no turbo boost for us

Bloomberg just reported Goldman have increased their Brent year end forecast to $90. Expected in Dec/Jan

Seems like 30p target imv. But note in the past , the strongest oil companies move up first and then the rest follow later on. Enquest need to deliver GE and Malaysia on time and impress the market . I would delay any more hedging till end of year.

Also agrees 2022 could be a very good year if Brent stays healthy , ...no mention of deferred tax in their brief analysis

I just filled my car with diesel. Had to wait behind 2 cars but overall not as busy as I thought it would be. Filled to max. To be honest, the queue at McD was longer so I didn't stop. These things all work themselves out . RNS after lunch would be nice. It's not everyday you buy General Electric. Got a job offer from Topgun the other day too.

AB holds just more than 10% to prevent a takeover , there are plenty of other Directors and senior people who have share options all wanting a higher share price .

Comparing market cap to HBR, I think we are very undervalued based on production if we included GE... but perhaps their assets are perceived as better quality.. just a guess, but I think we deserve a boost in SP as our assets are also getting better. HBR didn't really make that money either in 1H. Just comes down to a healthier balance sheet which we know Enquest is repairing in 2H 2021 and all of 2022 as well. Easy to see.. as I went to Specsavers.

Currie from GS was just on Bloomberg talking about various commodities. Still thinks $80 is possible . Even $85 plus if winter is colder than expected. That would put us at 30p post GE completion. NOV imv

He already said the improvements come next year with more drilling and deleveraging , nothing much happening this year .

24p , but 23p is fine for now , look at the share price performance over the last year. ,, just amazing
