agree with you. am quietly building a stake. its quite possible the bidder may re appear, which shud have a positive effect on the price. also management deciding to ditch dividend (and rightly) will have chased off the income investors n dropped the price................cant see why sp dropped today - do you know anything? good luck...

ther r a substantial size. several divisions with diverse interests. I think they may get a return of the takeover offer (it was 10.00) and frankly even if that doesnt happen the sp reflects the general demise of the high street backs - and CBG aint the same animal. good dividends if u hold for a while.

good for you. I can see this one moving steadily forward. I have shifted my strategy a little - cant really see xta giving us the returns we have had in last months, so am looking for more medium term increases. ( what I really mean is I am peed off at missing xta's jump lol) be lucky.................

reason cud b that ofwat's final decision on prices isnt as severe as was thought. also a little bird tells me UU are quietly slimmimg down work force - poss 15% to go. SP shud go up a bit - but elephants dont jump...............

This company doesnt do a lot wrong......But its not one that seems to be loved. Sooner or later market will see its true potential............then hold onto ur hats............(or your shares)...........

Ive been a fan (and a buyer) or this share for a few years. It doesnt swing wildly. and just plods upward. recent contract wins lead me to think it wont fall back much at all. We wont see sub £4.00 again imho. Dividend is steadily growing ( but is no big deal).

Despite all these short tertm problems - this company will progress. Buying Oxford Automotive was a bit of a **** up. But they are now past the worst of the merger. The world will always need their products - at this price its a bargain - keep buying.............

If you want some exposure to the mining sector this is worth a careful look. I started buying at less that a penny. I havent sold any - yet - more scope for a rise with commodity prices on the increase. T

IMHO this could be one to look at if you want an exposure to property. They build or buy - and seem only to lease to the medical profession - Doctors etc. Virtually guaranteed rents - and doctors surgeries shouldnt go out of business. Any thoughts anyone?
