Good morning Jake. I have just tried some dummy trades... Buy - 0.3775 Sell - 0.2825. Same as last time... I note what you say about HSBC. My point is that lse shown spreads should not be taken as gospel. I would say a 60% spread would put a lot of new investors off this share... Not quite what I am hoping to see... Best wishes, Hick

Just tried some dummy trades... Buy - 0.3775 Sell - 0.2825 Lse shows Buy - 0.4000 Sell - 0.2500 Their (incorrect) spread - 60% Actual spread --------------34% Agreed a wide spread but 34% V 60% ????? BTW it is now 11.33 and all the above will have changed... Merry Eczema..

At the risk of sounding cynical, it took some time to find out that the claims for increased production "at little cost" that BTP would be "certain" to make also took some time.... And look what a success that was !! Getting anything out of Rick is a bit like pulling teeth.

Production figures from Hawk and Cogis always seem to be slightly different. That doesn't really make much sense when it is Hawk telling Cogis what they have produced, does it? However I don't suppose that over 12 months it makes a lot of difference. Some months it is a little higher - some a little lower...

September - 30,495 divided by 30 = 1,017 October - 31,381 divided by 31 = 1,012 Yes monthly production IS up by c900 barrels - but...... Promise me you won't look at February 2018?

OK, Here we go :- October Stats..... Monthly production for month of October (in bopd) in :- 2012......... 180 2013.........1,471 2014.........1,886 2015.........1,604 2016.........1,280 2017.........1,012 This is a drop of 20.94% on last year. Production decline seems to have slowed. In the last 4 months is has held at just over 1,000 bopd.... Are we about to turn the corner??? Now the MAT figures. Annual Production for the period from :-- 01.11.2013 to 31.10.2014..... 665.970 01.11.2014 to 31.10.2015..... 695,190 01.11.2015 to 31.10.2016..... 505,921 01.11.2016 to 31.10.2017..... 418,137 This is a drop of 17.35% on last year. This 17% drop has now held for the last 5 months.... Again , it begs the question, are we at the bottom?? It IS beginning to look as though we are.... Recent comments about the steady rise of the POO are good. This can only help. How much is clouded by incomplete data on just how much we have hedged (gotta love Rick, don't you?) In all, I am more positive..... (but only just!!!!!)
